Very spoilerish on one particular thing.

Skullface seems to be cool with Big Boss now. Maybe they're both seeking revenge against Zero? It's MGS so who knows.

It seems Ocelot will be on base training soldiers with you.

Big Boss definitely has a violent streak going for him now. Seems like he's losing his shit.

Things seem pretty damn large scale. Lots of vehicles, big bases.

This is definitely the rise of Outer Heaven. Looks like we'll be building up the very army that SS takes down in MG1.

God why did I get so ripped before watching this, can't remember shit at the moment lol.

In other news there will be a 30 minute gameplay presentation.... behind closed doors for select media. Fucking bullshit lol

It's time the industry as a whole grows up in regards to npc interactions, I hope fallout 4 follows the same deal. It makes no sense to only be able to interact with grownups.

That doesn't mean there should be crude sexual relationships or over gratuitous violence, but it really needs to evolve.

I've been waiting for a game that properly connects MGS to Metal Gear beyond references like "Outer Haven" and the like. This trailer actually just made me excited for Phantom Pain. Holy Shit.

Also, did anyone else notice that the black shard on Big Boss's head was much longer when he was covered in blood and screaming?

Haha, can't leave the Patriots out of this one I'm afraid. At least they won't just be AIs at this point though. But yeah I'll just pretend that MGS4 was some weird dream sequence for Solid Snake and nothing more.

Off topic: why are studios showing trailers before E3?

I have always loved the dark, gritty and gory elements of Kojima's trailers. It still doesn't look photorealistic as he promised, though.

This was a legit leak I believe. Some MGS fanatic managed to get their hands on it before Konami could set it to private.

Yeah, it's not going to be a graphics king, but it looks pretty damn good. Unfortunately, this is a last gen game at its core. Then next gen versions are just ports.

I hope Kojima makes stealth important in unexpected ways. for example, if you decide to go loud with your mercs in tow you run a much greater chance of them dying in battle.

Whereas with stealth, they will be in much less danger unless of course you or they get discovered. Maybe they would even put a soldier making system in it sort of like how you mix persona's to get the one you want.

So what's the other studio's excuse?

No clue really. Maybe to get the publicity they need before the full cluster **** of E3 hits.

I'm also really hoping they bring back co-op like in Peace Walker. Good god I'd lose my life to this game! lol
