Anyone think that the 360 will be limited by the DL-DVD? Kojima already complained that the dual layer blu-ray was not enough. Do you think that it'll look worse on the 360 because of this?

How about lets wait until we get a screenshot?aaronmullan
It doesn't hurt to speculate in advance. :P
They don't even have this confirmed for next year. o.oBlixxedof course they will, and i am probly the only cow that's glad about this. microsoft dumps a million or two on kojima's head to give them some crumby exclusive dlc for a dumbed down metal gear game, then kojima uses microsoft's 2 million to make me another exclusive AAAA metal gear game...... on ps3.
Debating on which version will be better is rather pointless, considering there are no videos or screenshots that we can use. In other words, this thread is nothing but a crystal ball edition thread.
I don't get what drives people into making these redundant threads.
No problem if he uses two DVD's or more, which I hope he does.

The funny thing is that two DL dvds don't even equal a single layer blu-ray.
I think the 360 game will be on 15 DVD and the PS3 version will not look as goodAnyone think that the 360 will be limited by the DL-DVD? Kojima already complained that the dual layer blu-ray was not enough. Do you think that it'll look worse on the 360 because of this?

The even funnier part is that they dont need repeated data and uncompressed audio for the 360 version.I thought Kojima's involvement in the project was going to be very limited? In any event, they'll be the same. That being said, I'd buy the PS3 version regardless. Playing a Metal Gear title on a Microsoft console with the Xbox controller would feel like cheating on my girlfriend or something.Jared2720
LOL I feel exactly the same way. IDC if it's coming out for 360, MGS is meant to be played on Playstation IMO. That's how I've played 1-4 and that's how I'll play this spin-off..
360 will probably have the better version just like all the other multiplats.Chrome-
The reason multiplats look better on 360 is usually because the game is made for the 360 hardware then optimized for the PS3, which is why PS3 exclusives like U2 and KZ2 have those eye-popping graphics. Since they're making MGSR from the MGS4 engine the're probably going to make it for the PS3 then optimize it for the 360, so it probably won't look better on the 360. That's my opinion though; I have no way of really knowing for sure

How do you know the game will be on 5 DVD's? Also "teh cell" is = to the Xbox 360's CPU, the people at IBM who made both agree. ;)

Not to mention the X360 Xenos graphics processor is better then the PS3's RSX.
I am getting 360 version, but what the game should have is if it is between 2 and 4 it should have Liquid Ocelot.

Not to mention the fee for Xbox Live is not alot, as well as the games will be even pretty much.Anyone think that the 360 will be limited by the DL-DVD? Kojima already complained that the dual layer blu-ray was not enough. Do you think that it'll look worse on the 360 because of this?

50GB disk is not enough? Link?
How about it will look best on PC almost as usual. Really? I don't give a crap over one or the other, but I will get it on the PS3 if the 360 version has more than one disc.

Your so wrong the 360 is more powerfulWas that sarcasm or fanboysm? The PS3 is MUCH more powerful.
Ps3 will most likely have the superior version unless Kojima downgrades which I doubt he'll do.
I mean, in Rising He's completely remaking a brand new engine from scratch. When he could have used the great looking MGS4 engine. Why change? I just bet it wouldn't work on 360.
Now Kojima, please make me a Metal Gear Solid 4: Substance with added SP content and VR missions for 2010 :D :D :D
