This another korean grindfest? And will "largest amount of pop-in" be its graphical achievement?

Uh, this really doesn't look anything that otherworldly. It looks good, for sure, but this isn't any kind of graphical benchmark.

@IMAHAPYHIPPO: I have personal played witcher 3 for hundred of hours. This is vert impressive for a online game. Witcher 3 had very good foliage but had blocky assets here and there like the mountain. I almost thought it was a linear fps when they were showing the mountain ranges when going through the video.

This is just a tech demo vid. I dont see how that destroys the graphics of a full, released AAA game. The graphics dont mean shit anyway, if the gameplay is a grind filled mess.

This... While the witcher 3 was a very pretty game, I didnt spend 150 hours with it, because i had 50 more pixel than some crappy open world rpg like FO4.....

Exactly. All I saw in those vids was tracking shots of pretty scenery. Great, its a pretty tech video. Where is what makes it a game? You know the gameplay?

@godspellwh: I mean, yeah. It's a great looking game, there's no doubt about that. I'm just not really noticing anything all that ground-breaking about it, especially as a tech demo.

The Witcher 3 looks better and Horizon Zero Dawn looks better than the Witcher 3.

This forum is way too obsessed with graphics. I'm not saying they don't matter or that I don't appreciate an amazing vista, but I feel like every other thread is "take GAME people like, insert new game that LOOKS nicer and whogivesaf if it will be better. Discuss."

Horizon looks better and its not as good looking as TW3 on pc. So no, this doesn't bring TW3 to its knees.

That popup simulator? Characters models look very good cuz its a waifu kind of game. The rest isn't very impressive for other than MMO standards.

And don't blame me about HZD night shots. Game has the best looking night time of any game i've seen.

BDO really had some impressive rendering and some very detailed cities, but it was marred with rendering issues everywhere. The pop in was just unacceptably bad.

Looks good, but not better than hundreds of other games. There are no bad looking AAA games anymore.

Rise of the Tomb Raider actually has better looking graphics and exteriors to me.
