So yeah, there are reports of PS4 shortages in Japan... for some reason. I don't know what Sony's doing tbh. Maybe the memory shortage is starting to affect them? It's weird.

What's really nuts here though is the fact that a Zelda game is in fifth place in Japan a year after release! That is absolutely insane. And it looks like MHW will stay in the top spot for a couple more weeks, though it'll fall soon.

Wouldn't surprise me if the surge in sales MHW caused on PS4 took Sony by surprise and caught their stock supply off guard.

Lol Japan and of course Xbox Won. :P

Oh, and DOOM released on Switch last week in Japan so... rip. Granted, the PS4 version also flopped there, though not this badly.

PS4 vanilla dropped like a stone this week, and PS4 Pro increased by a decent amount to offset it, indicating that shortages are indeed an issue for the system right now.

Switch still selling through its retail stock each week but supply keeps getting better, especially in the bigger cities. How much Nintendo ups supply in preparation for Kirby and then LABO should be interesting.

Switch isn't nearly as constrained as it once was, though it is still selling through most of the stock yeah. A similar situation to the US but a bit more constrained. That said, even if PS4 had enough stock I doubt it would have come on top this week. The MHW effect is waning.

PS4 beats XboneU once again.

Look at those switch numbers consistently smashing it, honestly if Nintendo manage to get that Pokemon title out for 2018 I could seriously see shortages again towards the end of the year.

Guys! The rest of the consoles make a combined total of 44,691. That means the Switch is outselling all of them put together. Damn... Especially since the Switch doesn't even have Pokemon yet.
