MCC update going ham, Scorpio will get it's mascot back

It's interesting that they are going to revamp the entire game to a fully dedicated server experience. It would be interesting to see what visual upgrades the Mighty Scorpio X beast will make these games run at. 60fps 4K seem to be the target for all titles. It would be a Halo fan's dream come true if this game gets put back into the spotlight, running stable and with better graphics. Looking at how Battlefield 4 was able to regather it's fanbase I am sure millions of Xbox One fans would be eager to try this updated title out again.

Hey guys good games are Timeless. This big Halo Collection is certainly one of them. The campaigns, co-op and 4 player split-screen make up for exciting couch gaming.

Another old ass game being propped up for the bone x. Instead of focusing time and money on previously released broken games, why not make new ones nobody has played before?? Oh wait, ms lacks the skill and talent I forgot

Would love to wipe the dust off of the MCC and give the multiplayer a spin again. Halo 2 remains one of the greatest multiplayer games of all time.

I don't own the X1X or a 4K T.V. ,does the Halo:MCC still get a updated version on the regular X1? Thank you for any replies.

I love it. I have MCC digitally so it's just so convenient to switch between the games instantly. The free massive step up in graphics and performance is definitely something to get excited about. I am jubilant!

Is the rumour that this is coming to PC at some point still alive? I'd really like to play through the Halo games again, but I'm unsure that I want to pull the 360 and Xbox out of storage.

Sadly no. That rumor was already debunk back in October 2017, MS has no intention of bringing it to Windows 10. But the good news is, Halo 6 is coming to PC, so it looks like we'll have to go with that.

Can't say I blame MS for not bringing MCC to PC, Halo games are the only reason to ever buying an Xbox consoles to play Halo. I don't like it, but I can understand the concept :(

Then you buy a prebuilt or laptop.

Normally, I would strongly advocate towards building your own. With the recent inflation in GPU prices, a prebuilt system is a better choice anyways.

I don't know why people act like it's still broken, I had no issues with campaign when I played or when I did online co-op with friends.

I bought a new computer about 6 months ago. I was trying to decide between a prebuilt laptop or a self-assembled laptop. I went with the laptop for the sake of simplicity, and the portability of it (I work as a truck driver, and take it with me on the road to play games and watch movies/shows)... and now that I'm seeing GPU prices (I was looking at building a budget desktop to start, then upgrade later) I'm glad I decided to go with the laptop.

Years too late for me for MP, but if it makes It possible for the SP to get ported to PC, I’d consider it.

Cracks me up to see cows bring this up and ignore the phenomenal SP experience that works amazing in one package instead of a bunch of remasters.

All they do is bash the MP component (when cows prefer sp games anyways)

There won't be any game remakes but there will be a fucking shit ton more than just a res bump have you not seen what they did with Halo 5 on the X? It's like a completely new game by all accounts.

It went out as it came in - as a miserable pile of excrement.

Back when MCC release, I too never had an issue with the Campaigns and not only that, I pick up MCC just for the Campaigns only. I was already burned out Halo CE to Halo 4 MP, so the MP shutdown never ever bother me at all. The only issue I had with the Campaign was Halo 2 saves but that was hardly an issue, but other then that, MCC Campaigns was worth the price I enjoy revisiting.

Never had issues with the campaign either.

I'm jealous of the people who never had a problem with the campaign. Last time I tried, halo 3 played so choppy I gave up on playing it altogether. Maybe I'll revisit it.
