Mass Effect Andromeda gets Xbox One X Enhanced

A bit surprising that this title received this update. Anyone own a this game and a x1x?

That’s cool. I have the game but don’t have an Xbox One X, yet. I had fun with the game in general even though I was a bit disappointed in it as a Mass Effect game in particular.

All those boring pink haired losers on the ship, now you can count the number of hairs they have.

And when that idiot says "sorry, my face is tired with....everything...." she now has crud in her eyes.

This game deserves to be forgotten. It killed one of the greatest franchises.

I thought it was always X-enhanced, but then I remember Andromeda launch March of 2017 while Xbox One X launch November 2017 so yeah, it makes sense it get's the X-enhanced treatment. You know, it is N7 Day tomorrow, (at the time of this post) so that's saying something I supposed. As big of a Mass Effect fan that I am, I for one really had a blast playing Mass Effect: Andromeda, it's my most played Mass Effect game since Mass Effect 3, it get's hated among gamers but I for one totally enjoy the game for what it is and I treated as a Mass Effect spin-off, not the main Mass Effect course game.

Why would they bother It was trash to start with.

I was hoping they would update it soon for the One X. Gonna play through it soon if that's the case. Base model Xbone it ran alright but the textures looked muddy as hell. Hopefully it will improve the game.

Not really. Didnt EA or Bioware say a year or so ago that they were done updating the game? I bought it for my PS4 Pro a while back for like $12. Played it for a few hours. I was enjoying the game but put it to the side so the i could finish up some other games. Need to get back to playing it.

I wouldn't play this game if it was free.

I got the game on PC but I did watch both the Xbox One & Pro graphics comparisons awhile back. It doesn't look better than I remembered it from youtube vids and it doesn't look as good as it does on PS4 Pro. Either the updates hasn't been released and EA/Bioware jumped the gun or this was a half-assed job they did. Then again, it always had HDR capabilities.

@davillain-: from the looks of things it doesnt look like there is a update yet. So maybe MS jumped the gun by posting it under their Enhanced games list. Probably be more news on it tomorrow.

Makes me wonder if there will be any updates for the ps4/pc versions also. Maybe EA is trying to repair a few burnt down bridges before Anthem releases.

Good news for X owners. The game was fun in-and-of itself, but as an ME title, it was pure garbage.

The update is live now. Here in Canada anyways. Currently downloading it. Only a 1.68 GB download as well so not bad.

Not surprised it took this long considering the shit team that made it... the team that made the ME3 MP.

Cool I guess... if you're a big ME fan like me, I think it's worth a play-through.

But what would be even cooler is if they X-enhanced the trilogy (backward compatible versions) on X. Or even better, release a remaster EA!

Looks great. Started a new game (hadn't really gotten far before anyway)

Worst AAA game I can remember. Was grossly disappointed.

Great news for X owners. Really good game, most of the people bashing it have never played it and are doing so in 'monkey see monkey do ' fashion after it became cool on the internet to hate the game.

Some of the writing's weak, not a game breaker for me personally. So yeah, you thought it was atrocious and played it for 70 hours. I honestly don't know what to say to that lol.

I played it for about 3-4 hour? just replaced dad as the captain of the ship. Hereditary is still a thing in future space army, its bad to choose someone based on blood but it works I guess.

Never went back though, damn the game is bug filled. Hopefully the xbox x enhancements fix some of it.

Rather than play something for 2 hours and then give a poorly thought out analysis. Which too many people do.

Coolness, now offer it up as a free GWG game and perhaps, just maybe, I dunno, I could give what I hear is a turd, a whirl. :P
