This is 12 days old but nobody posted it cause the forum dead (your fault), but imma hyped. One of the 3 people who remember how dope Freedom Force was. Since normies and game journos haven't actually played. Which is great.

I see superhero anything, its an insta pass. Also, nice 360 visuals.

Some dodgy textures but I mostly like the visuals. All the Marvel games now mostly aim for uber-realistic visuals and look like knockoff MCU movies with the stunt actors.

Big Marvel fan so I’m hoping this turns out well.

I wrote it off at first when it was first shown, but once I found out who was behind it, then I became more open to the idea. I do hope it will do well, but my suspicions are that it will be ignore because of obvious reasons only to be looked at later with the "were we too harsh?" mindset and find out it was an underrated gem.

I want games to be about an average joe who can survive explosions and carry two legions worth of guns.

I don't want games about superheroes, it's boring.

I too want Max Payne 4.

I want Xcom 3. Where is Xcom 3 on UE5? WHERE?

Pretty exited for this, I am a huge Xcom fan, so anything Xcom like have my interest!

I'd recommend checking out Freedom Force/expansion.

Costs basically nothing. Bit a bit of a shit to run.

If this game plays even remotely like that be a happy chappy.

The mansion base stuff not too keen on, looks like some shitty Mass Effect crap I won't care about.

Love me some X-COM 1 and 2 but oh boy that gameplay isn't doing much to move the needle for it keeping it based around cards and everyone just standing around waiting for their turn to use whatever move has been drawn. Been a fan of super heroes my entire life but this falls squarely into that weird too video-gamey territory where it doesn't make sense to see Ironman blast a fucking basic henchmen in the face and they just get up to keep fighting.

A Marvel based X-COM style game had my interest but this doesn't feel like a Marvel X-COM game. It feels like a card game with visuals where position on the map doesn't matter a whole lot beyond some AOE things and "negative space".

This game comes out the same day as Callisto Protocol so of course I'm gonna look the other side and not care for Midnight Suns and go for the good game that is Callisto Protocol.

Why the hell are the graphics so bad on a card-based turn game? 🤣

Game might be okay depending, but they could have beefed up the visuals a bit if you're just going to sit there and watch the attack animations.

And for the record. Freedom Force looked so much better that this card game. At least your characters in Freedom Force were not this ridicilously tanky. And had much greater heed to use of environmental weaponry and positioning.

NuXCOM devs already showed a lack of understanding of what made the original XCOM games good with NuXCOM 1. I got my hopes somehwat up with NuXCOM 2 where it didnt pretend to be the better games. And then with NuXCOM Chimera Squad, I lost any and all interest. But this... this is just sad.

How can the company behind masterpieces like X-Com, Darklands, Alpha Centauri and Civ 4... fall this far?

Looks like the best superhero game in years. That doesn't say much though. I think the movie spam has killed my interest in superheroes, sadly.

This flopped hard and was forgotten about in 10 minutes.

Isn't it weird that Xcom has a reasonably high demand, the two games scored very well, and they refuse to make Xcom3? What do they have instead of brains?
