Mark Rein talks Gears Of War not exclusive to the 360 anymore!

The number one challenge of bringing Gears of War to the PC is finding enough PCs that can run it. Right now, it's optimized for the 360, as we discussed earlier. Now, are there enough PCs that have that type of power out there? When is that going to be the average gamers PC? Controls [are another issue]. There's just some problems to figure out and timing. It will happen at some point, but when the time is right is when we'll do it.:shock: I Guess i'll be buying this and Halo3 on PC then!

today i headshoted a guy who was in cover after i shoot, then he came out and after 2 second  the bulet hited his head

cool but not worth the other 30+ headshots what could have been because of the damn bulet lag

 Sot thats why they dont die from 3 headshots. and it sucks when u suprise someone from behinde and shoot 3 shells of buckshot in hes neck and he still has time to kill you....Bit dissapointing IMO

A good PC that will be capable of running top tier graphical games such as crysis, is going to cost more than $1000.00.  It is a fact of PC gaming that it costs more.  On the flip side, it does a heck of alot more than an console too.  Plus if you do get a very good gaming PC, its technological perfomance will outlast the Xbox 360. 

The problem then is, PC games will continue to require more technology, and you then will have the option of upgrading again.  The Xbox, on the other hand, will be stuck in 2006 until you have to buy a new one from Microsoft.

I think us Lemmings are closer to playing Gears 2 than you hermits are to playing Gears 1.  Still, to say it isn't exclusive to the 360 anymore is a stretch.  Until it is released for the PC, it is still exclusive to the 360, especially given that you have no date for when it will ever make it to the PC.  Epic wants to make sure that they can sell a million copies of the game for the PC.  Obviously, Mark Rein doesn't feel like they could do that now (based on the above quote).

Sooooo.  Why wait until 2008 to play Gears, let alone late 2008/2009 to play Halo 3 when you can play Gears now and Halo 3 in September???

Old. He also went on record stating that it could be 5 years from now as to when it appear on the computer. By then Gears of War 2 will be out and on the 360 as an exclusive.

And, until it's announced on another platform, it's exclusive to the 360.
