Ugh... worst imaginable studio for it. Not to mention, Mario just isnt a good fit for a movie character.

@Maroxad: Aren't Nintendo pretty strict on quality control regarding representation? Sure, the Minions aren't the greatest but the animation is decent. (Dreamworks would've been arguably better though)

Nintendo must be desperate for cash.

Fucking why Illumination though? Why not get the Oscar nominated creators of Boss Baby on the line instead?

Giving the fact I happen to actually enjoy The Super Mario Bros. movie for a guilty pleasure, I'll gladly take on another Mario movie :)

I'll watch it. It's not like a Mario game has ever had a good story so they can't do any damage to it.

93 movie is still the best.

Will Mario sacrifice Yoshi again when he needs to double jump? Also will Luigi gonna be having a standalone film too?

If nothing else, I'm sure it'll at least be better than that live-action movie. I'll give it a watch for sure.
