The article was pointless. ...In a nutshell it says

You can see a fact about people in watchdogs before you kill them, so it's a little more than a nameless npc.

Also the article points out a you tube video called "making the world a better place" were the player in the video profiles minorities and kills them.

Wow, so many people here clearly didn't read the article.

The writer clearly avoids blaming developers or the large community of players, and is specifically talking about the behavior of a very small amount of players.

He even goes on to give the benefit of the doubt that those that exhibit such in-game behavior harbor probably don't harbor any real life resentment or tenancies toward those groups discriminated on in the game, but he nonetheless says it's unnerving.

I'm not even gonna waste my time reading unprofessional journalism like that!
