Also Fat Chris. And Ethan is the protag again.
I'm om mobile so I'll fix this later.
Edit: I forgot to add. Environments reminded me of Dark Souls 3.

Pretty much a given, after the reception to RE7.
But don't you worry; as RE6 showed, Capcom have plenty of ways of potentially ruining a RE game, regardless of player perspective.
Lots of rumors about full PSVR support, which I'm assuming will be revealed when Sony does the PSVR show. So it makes sense for the first person perspective.
Yeah, looked good. One of the bigger reveals of the show for me.
Not bothered by it being first person at all. Just recently got around to RE7, for all the issues the game has, the camera perspective is certainly not one of them.
The need to release it with VR support on PC also... OR they need to release a PS5 VR headset with a better resolution than the PS4 VR headset so I can play that game the way its meant to be played.
@ConanTheStoner: that's true. My main gripe was the enemy variety, or lack thereof. 7 was pretty solid for me.

They're working on it, dude. PSVR2 is going to be lit.

Not really... You need a lot of horse power for VR, take it from a person with a 2080 Ti.
I am more interested in what Oculus has coming up which I will pair with a 3090 or 3080 Ti which is why I hope they have it on PC otherwise I will be forced to get PS5 VR for the game.
PS5 VR will be what is available on PC now as the PS5 with its 2070 level GPU can't handle next generation VR which will target 4K+ resolutions at 120-144Hz.
Current PSVR is 1080 x 960... I can see PS5 VR being 1440p like my Oculus Rift S.
I want next generation VR, not console VR.
I want high FOV, high refresh rates and high resolutions than what is available now and I'll pay $1K for it.

I'm getting a high-end rig soon, and will be mostly VR gaming on PC. But still, PSVR2 should be good for the exclusives, for one.
Unfortunately yeah. Would have preferred the third person perspective myself. Still though the game looks great. The setting and environments look very cool.

Oh I hope so... I just hope it comes out soon, I don't want to have to get a PSVR as I don't think I can handle 1080x960p.
VR is literally the only thing that excites me with games, its why I guess this reveal didn't interest me much... I am tired of sequels and pretty games with the same old gameplay.

I still love flatscreen games. But I do get what you're saying. Once you've experienced quality VR....dude, it's hard to be impressed by playing games on a TV. Increasingly I find myself thinking "damn, I wish this was in VR" with a lot of flatscreen games. It's just to be expected with such mind-blowing tech.
Looks more interesting than RE7, I hope it has ganado like enemies if we don't get zombies , that's better than the POS enemies from RE7.
I didn't want it to be in in first person, but this is the best trailer of the show, so im getting this. RE7 looked too similar to Outlast. This looks like a proper RE game, tho.
Don't understand why people always want third person. After playing resident evil 7 in VR, I can't even go back to third person anymore. I played 10 mins of the RE2 remake and got bored, lol. I'd understand if it was just first person with no VR support, because I probably wouldn't be that interested in it. But playing it in VR and without VR are two completely different experiences. VR enhances the immersion significantly.
