It's not. It has some freezing issues. But not much else that i've experienced.

Dark Souls 1 was an awful, awful port, yet it was still better than the console version.

Just shows what quality PC gamers expect compared to console gamers.

At least on the PC the issues can be corrected by the developer (or if the developer doesn't fix it, the community will).

the sad thing consolites don't realize is that even if they are bad ports dark souls 1 and 2 are far better on pc than on consoles :(

I've lost connection to PSN and XBL multiple times and unless it was planned maintenance outage or PSN getting hacked, it was always my ISP's fault.

I myself had no single issue since launch. Like really none. And the issue that some users were reporting have been already fixed with patches. The game version is currently 1.02. The Dark Souls 2 on PC has 60k concurrent players DAILY. It's a HUGE success on PC. If the game was really broken, then it wouldn't have such numbers.

So please, mods, lock this thread as it´s based on outdated info and it's a clear troll bait.

Issues with the game come from the extreme minority, this was a pretty clean launch and the rest of us are enjoying the game at 1080p and 60fps with more control options, video options, and free online. Stay jelly troll.

Well i have 17h in it and haven't gotten a single problem in all this time, not even a single crash.

Dude , if 2% people are having problem (which is already fixed , thanks to openness and lack of QC on PC) then that DOES NOT take away the greater experience that other people are having at 1080p and 60fps on their PCs .

The funny thing is that despite DS 1 being bad port , it was still better than console version and ran at 60fps (While console versions had frame rate issues) , it was just bad for PC standards .

Over 60K play DS 2 on steam at the same time , daily (Which means the game is working properly and people are loving it) . Should've spent the time on something creative instead of looking for something just to make this dumb thread .

I had no issue running the game and I haven't even updated the game . Running it on vanilla version at Max settings .

most recent patch tidied things up nicely for me.

game runs really, really well.

The only issue it has is that it's too superior to the console version for peasants like @xboxdone74 and @Suppaman100 to fathom.

Well the console version has some pretty big issues too. 15-30 fps and the graphics look terrible at 1280x720.

Not complaining I own the console version because I didn't want to wait. It's still fun as hell (although I probably should have just waited).

@Pray_to_me: The best things in life come to those who wait. So I don't mind waiting I have so many games on pc I can't play them all. What you don't understand is people still play "old" games like skyrim why mods extend and improve games. On console you get what you get and you pay 60 bucks for it and then pay for DLC.

You can clearly see on that compressed vid pc destroys the console version. Even GS consolite central says pc has the best version. So you want some peanut butter peasant for you pc jelly ??
