Looking to get an Xbox One X Scorpio edition. Anyone know where I could still snag one in the US?

As the title states, I am looking to get a Scorpio edition X1X. If I wind up with a normal edition I guess that is fine as well.

Honestly, after just getting a Nintendo Switch, I didn't think my wife would say it's ok to go ahead and snag a X1X at launch, so I didn't even ask. My oldest son was joking around and said I should ask to get one if I went to a stupid party of an old friend of hers as a bribe... lmao. I didn't think she would say that it was a deal... but here I am.

Anyways, here I sit, scouring the net looking for a store that might still be taking pre-orders (US). I'm probably too late, but if anyone knows then help me out. It would be appreciated.

If I can't get a launch Scorpio edition then do you know if I can still get a normal edition on launch day?

Target, maybe gamestop since they brought their pre orders in store to online. It might be too late though.

i think your screwed for the scorpio edition.... unless you get in line super early on launch....

otherwise youll have to get a regular one.

There is a large X1X preorder thread on NeoGAF seems like Target is the place that still has some pre orders for it.

You may not be able to get a Project Scorpio version since it seems to be sold out everywhere but you will at least be able to get to get the normal version. Just keep an eye out and you may get lucky with one of the places getting extra stock or preorder cancellation. Since the demand was so high Microsoft may release more.

They might be hard to get now, if you use Twitter try following Major Nelson, he's tweeting from time to time about availabilities. Otherwise, you may have to settle for the regular XOneX, which hasn't been made available to preorder yet.

Wtf is the Scorpio version

It's like the "Day One" version of the Xbox One. On the console itself, and on the controller it says "Project Scorpio". It's just for the fans that were there from the start

You do understand that "Limited Edition" can mean "Only made for a certain amount of time" as well as in limited amounts right?

Best thing to do for anyone looking for the Scorpio Edition, get up early and head out to your local electronic stores before it opens you have a better chance securing Scorpio Edition.

Nothing as far as I know. Just thought the green lettering on the controller was cool.. lol. Like I said, it doesn't matter too much if I can't get a Scorpio edition, but I thought I would at least try.

As far as the whole early adopter thing being for suckers... yeah, that's probably right, but if you had to go to an old friend of your wife from high school, and never really cared too much for her... well... if you are being bribed and if the offer is on the table, then why the hell not..? lol...

I'll wind up owning it either way, and $100 isn't a make or break for me if the price does drop. Jumping into PUBG, Conan, and Black Desert is worth the price of admission. If it wasn't for those games I wouldn't be as interested, and honestly although those games may eventually come to the PS4... who knows when. (Yes, I know they are on PC, but I much prefer playing on consoles.. just a personal preference.)

If you want to find deals quicker and more often, GS especially SW is the last place you want to check. Check sites like CheapAssGamer, SlickDeals and even Neogaf & Reddit will have info for sales faster and more often. Also you should create a spam Twitter account and follow these deals sites because they pretty much post there pretty quickly before or at the same time someone creates a thread about the deals. Last last time I read, Target should still have some but that was like yesterday so who knows if out of stock today.

Try through the Microsoft Store. Shipping is free and if anything goes wrong you can exchange it at one of their brick and mortar stores. And if anybody will have more pre-orders ready first, it's them. They're still offering them last I checked. Good luck.

Preorders are back on Amazon. It went up over an hour ago. I checked and its still available.

Scorpio edition has green text on controller, screened crosshatch texture on console, and a stand.

Regular edition has none of those.

Comes with a vertical stand as well.

@WitIsWisdom: Microsoft.com find a store. I don't know where you live but you can find an MS store on their website. They may still have them at some stores.
