“If you’re looking to purchase a PS5 console, you should now have a much easier time finding one at retailers globally.”
It adds that players in the US, UK, France, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium should be able to buy a PS5 console from the official PlayStation Direct online store.
Consoles are also available at participating retailers globally, Sony says.
Sony announced earlier this month that more than 30 million PS5 consoles have been sold through to consumers.
Speaking during a CES showcase, SIE president Jim Ryan claimed that December was PS5’s biggest sales month yet, and that increased availability means more consumers can now purchase one.

A report by bot detection specialist Netacea stated in November that scalper bots are graudally starting to lose interest in the PS5, a sign that scarcity is becoming less of an issue.
Noting that the PS5 was ranked fourth in its chart of items target by scalper bots, it said: “This is the first time the PlayStation 5 has not made the top three in our Index, a reflection of the slight reduction in bots targeting the console due to stock increases.”
