Meh, I liked her first design better. I wonder if SE will decide to launch something like a trilogy (the 3 games all in one package). I would buy that to be honest I've been wanting to try the games out, but can't seem to find the first one anywhere and the second game is still full f*cking price on many reatilers! :S If they priced it right I would definitely buy it.Desmonic

Furthermore, you can get a new copy of FF13-2 for less than 20 bucks as well.

looks hideous... 2 pieces from Snow's trench-coat, boots, black spandex, a Gundam shield and some generic black chestplate... My god, it seems all the talent Nomura had got sucked up by Square; either that or he doesn't gives a flying F* about this game. But that's only one of many outfits though. Now the question is, the other outfits will be unlockable or paid DLC?

People over react to the final fantasy 13 saga. It's not that bad. The combat system is great, and I personally liked all the characters. People are too busy crying about how we aren't getting Final Fantasy 1-10 anymore... If people would treat them as there own game, they aren't half bad...

Yeah, funny enough I didn't like the originals that much, I liked what they were going for, the themes, symbolism and what not but I hated Shinji and Asuka alot and Rei wasn't a character, just a moving plot device. The lack of character progression really wasn't very appealing to me. They started and ended in the same manner, with no form maturing or additional understanding and everytime you thought they got better, they regressed extremely quickly. Now I can see where Anno was going with that but it didn't make the characters any less irritating. I like them more in the rebuilds.

The guy who wrote it was under extreme stress at the time, thats why the last few episodes were really screwy. The new rebuilds are very nicely done with lots of modern SFX.clyde46

The final boss is a pain in the ass. Make sure you're well-leveled.

But I also agree that the character designs/outfits are perfectly fine and that NORA's character design is really bad.

to be honest to me the big spike in dif before the boss fight ala the lair itself was the hardest part. I murdered the final boss.

The entire final boss or its final form?

I also found the final form of Orphan to be extremely easy (much like Yu Yevon in FFX), but the first form was really frustrating, especially its tendency to one-shot your party, tho that can be guarded against with the right accessories (tho it doesn't eliminate the problem entirely).

It looks like a combination of her previous outfits with a gothic touch. This looks promising.

Action RPG as in Kingdom Hearts=bad.
