Lets do a poll on overall forum favorite TGA Game of the Year winner.

Zelda. But I find it funny Sony fans thought Ratchet and Clank was gonna win. Nobody bought that game, it’s boring. It still same ol crap for the PS2 Ratchet and Clank.

I have not played It Takes Two.

What I played -

1. God of War - Top Game of last gen
2. The Last of Us Part II - 2nd best game of last gen
3. Sekiro - Really great action game - top 15 game of last gen
4. The Witcher 3 - Good action adventure/light arpg - Worth playing , but highly overrated by critics/fans

I played Overwatch pre-release and had fun with it for what it was , but that was enough for me. Bloodborne is my #3 game of last gen if you were wondering.

Sekiro & BotW > The Rest

It Takes Two, mostly because i'm a fan of the underdog, but it is a great game on its own.

Chose GoW, but 17 to 19 are hard to choose from.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is my favourite. Ones that I have played from those were:

- Dragon Age: Inquisition

- The Witcher 3

- Overwatch

- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

I did enjoy all those.

I picked God of War because RDR 2 was overhyped and it was great to see it lose lol.

Wish people here were good enough at videogames to play Sekiro. I wanted to talk about it more.. It came, people here just went "I stopped playing because hard". Some people tried to justify their suckiness by blaming the game, and that was that.. An awesome game being ignored. Sadness.

Witcher 3 for me loved everything about that game sad to see what a mess cyberpunk was. Went from hero to zero from me.

Voted Witcher 3, still one of my favorite games.

Still shocked that Inquisition won back in the day. Good game but I thought it was worse than 2 in terms of story and side quests.

BOTW, followed by Sekiro.

Fun game if you have friends or family to play it with and can look past the cheesy story. It forces you to play split screen though even online.

It quite frankly lost its soul compared to the PS2 games. The modern ones are just a pale imitation.

lol, I tried. I really did. I've beaten Demon's, DS1-3, and Bloodborne. Could not get the hang of that one. Would just get flattened by a sub boss, finally cheese my way through it, only to get flattened by another sub boss. Maybe I'll revisit with a fresh perspective.

@clone01: I totally got stuck on a few bosses in Sekiro. Glad I didn't quit tho bc the setting and exploration is top notch. And it's kinda like Dark Souls in that now I can go back and beat most bosses in a few tries.

Pretty ballsy to develop a combat system that actively punishes you for playing it like a Souls game. Miyazaki, you madman.

Man, out of all of those I've only played Zelda. It's a great game, but I can't vote for it having no experience with any of the others.

Breath of the Wild over Dad of War n Last of us 2 I guess. None of the goty pics, would be my goty for their respective year. BoTW is the closest i guess for its year, but while I appreciate the exploration experience that it is. They did tie a bit of an action game to it, and that part isn't all that good. Doesn't help that most of the shrines are kind of sleep. Still that game had me pretty addicted and wide eyed smiling when I was playing. But it came out the same year as Nioh and Tekken 7, and nah.

Sekiro is only interesting for its difficulty, and is easily Miyazakis weakest battle system. Building your whole game around the parry is a recipe for a dull ass, simon says ass action game, and that's exactly what Sekiro is. Simon Says but hard. If you play actual action games with depth you would see this. The denizens easily impressed by roll left press R1. It shouldn't have been winning over the likes of Resi 2 Remake (a game that plays nothing like its ps1 counterpart, but hur dur a remake shouldn't count, fucking dorks), or Devil May Cry 5 (a game with an actual high skill ceiling) or Baba is You, or fucking hell Tetris 99 while we're at it.

Overwatch, I sleep at this point.

Witcher is shallow

It Takes Two is cute, but still shallow.

Dragon Age sucked since the first game. Real time with pause, not even once.

The Last of Us 2 and it isn't even close. its the game of the generation for a reason.

The Witcher 3 wasn't even the best game of 2015, that was Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.

I'd argue Bloodborne better as well.

DMC5's combat isn't even remotely as good as Sekiro's. it's excellent, but Sekiro's is on a whole other level.

Nioh is a poor man's Sekiro. Zero engagement. I tried continuing my Nioh run after my 4th run and platting Sekiro, and wow it feels bland and unimmersive with no satisfying elements.

You probably enjoy the clunky bullshit Monster Hunter World combat I would guess.
