Namco Bandai wants this to be the biggest souls game to date yet the only people who know about it are fromsoft hardcore fans.

lol where did you see me expecting a Fromsoft game to look great? Still, i don't expect it to be this rough, and the official gameplay reveal showed us as much. This is most certainly a very early build from year(s) ago, and it does look like DS1 running on a ps3.

I don't want to defend the visuals knowing that they will be far behind to what's looking great for the time, but at the same time, they already showed us the official gameplay, we know how it looks like, and this leak is far behind. So it is pretty obvious that its a much older build OR running on last gen systems. If that's how the game looks like on last gen OOOOOOOOOOF

I think it still looks okay, even on 8th gen level, this is kinda what I expected out of Elden Ring and plus, George R.R. Martin's name on the game as well tells me Elden Ring will be just fine. The game releases late January 2022, so still time to iron out the game.

When this is out, i'll do a Demon's Remake vs Elden Ring graphics comparison thread to expose how far behind Fromsoft tech is. Won't surprise anyone, but it needs to be done because good visuals add so much atmosphere to these games.

Not that I'm calling fake but something seems off about this. If you're leaking direct capture, why only 30 seconds, and why show off basically nothing? Even the trailer leak was showing combat gameplay with the old assets and whatnot.

I bet you that even if it launched with these kind of visuals and empty environment, it would still destroy 95% of open world titles in the actual gameplay/fun department🤣

Obviously not a final build, DS3 looks more polished on my PC.

I'm passing judgment until we see proper clips/trailers than a 20 second clip showing a side of a ridge.

This game looks like a PS3 game. Ugliest graphics I have ever seen. I bought a PS5 and Xbox Series X for trash games like this? Hell no! I can’t support such a lazy effort. And I won’t! Preorder canceled!

Hoping the graphic folks find lots of reasons to validate their complaints... That way they can use graphics as a reason not to play this game as opposed to their fear...

Not all gamers feel that way. Me however I will always prefer better gameplay/framerates over raw graphics any day. If Elden Ring has poor gameplay than we'd have a problem. The graphics is the least of my worries.

Same... Graphics in modern games is last on my list. Every game has an artistic quality that we either find pleasing or unappealing. That's about the extent of it for me. I watched the video and thought the game looked fine. Can't wait to play it!

It it wasn't a remake and was made by Sony first party, it wouldn't have both. It would just have the production part.

You can get both on PC and the fact I'm getting Elden Ring on PC is an automictic PC version will have the best graphics but still, gameplay/better framerate is everything to me over better graphics. That leak gameplay is really what I expected, hardly any worries this game won't disappoint.

Demon's Souls Remake on PS5

I had imagined From would look at Blue Point's work on PS5 and use that as a benchmark to aim for with their upcoming projects, but it seems they are either not willing or not capable of accomplishing the same results. This is partially the result of what aiming to run on everything will get you.

The point is that it does have high production value and great gameplay to boot. There is no need to settle for only having one especially if you've invested into new hardware for better results than what you previously owned.
