Leak: Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition = Day One version

It looks like Microsoft will incorporate the name of Project Scorpio in the console. According to various images that appeared on Twitter and on various German retailers, Xbox One X: Project Scorpio Edition will be the Day One version of the console. It looks like it has an amazing textured pattern on one side too. However, the star of the design has to be the “Project Scorpio” in green letters on the front of the console and the controller. I can’t wait to get my hands on it when it launches on November 7.

Hmm, interesting. I never really liked the codename, but I guess it makes the XBoneX branded in such a way more prestigious. I won't be using the controller that it comes with either anyways, the Elite will drive my XBoneX.

I admit, it really does look sexy as heck then any Xbox custom I seen so far, that looks way more next-gen console then just an upgrade console. Sad, Xbox One X could have been the start of a next-gen console, I would've buy it day one.

Again, nice day one edition, I'm totally fine keeping my original Xbox One (same goes for my PS4) giving the fact I never care about being weaker then PS4, I have all the power from my PC :)

I was going to upgrade my GPU but the high cost of them right now because of mining and Volta is going to be released until mid of next year might as well buy this sexy machine. Can't wait to play the best console versions.

No Games Edition

Day One version comes with a handwritten apology from MS to all it's hardcore fans.

However it's a digital copy saved in the hard drive and you have to pay $5.00 dlc to unlock.

I will buy the console. But calling this a "surprise" Is like when your parents surprised you with a trip to the dentist.

Nice. It's funny, cos half the time, these codenames are better than release names. You have NX, Dolphin, Revolution... Actually, it may just be Nintendo who are good at the codenames lol.

I just got a white XB1 S model, I'm not sure I wanna go back to black yet, and I don't like the buttons not having the traditional colors, but other than that, I'm glad they're going back to the Scorpio name. But, if this is all I can get when pre-orders go up, I guess I'll take it. I got a 4K UHD OLED just waiting for that pow-wa.

What TV? I'm looking at 4K, and gonna move my current 55-inch to the living room. OLED's are fecking expensive...

An LG B7 OLED, I got it at Costco, the B7 is equivalent to this year's C7 (I think they get different SKUs so competitors don't price match), they're on sale until like the 27th I believe, comes automtically with a 2 year extended warranty and if you get 3 years of additional coverage they knock $90 off the price (which covers the extra three years), so 5 years extended coverage free. It was pricey too, about $1999 for the 55-inch, but compared to the Samsung 8 series quality and price I thought it not too much extra.

Warning though, it was a pain to set up out of the box, had to change a gazillion settings to make it look like it should. But man, does it look great, I definitely recommend splurging just a little if you have the means. And if not... you got both your kidneys still, right?

I think it's cool that they really embraced that people loved the code name for this system and have given us the ability to purchase a version of it branded with exactly that.
