While it is no Ryse or Infamous Watchdogs on a graphics level it looks good to me as a open world game. It has a good population to interact with and unlike Infamous will actually have a multiplayer that looks promising.

Open world games are demanding as of resources on hardware. While people complain about "teh downgrades" they should be aware that this is an inter-generational game and probably one of the last of it's kind this year. Also it's still the beginning of the gen so there's that too.
I am hoping this game does well though. As I am quite excited for it. Glad to see some other people are too!
Okay, yes, it looks much better than that trailer from a few weeks ago.
At this point, however, I am more interested in the actual content- I hope that it's not shallow, repetitive gameplay, like so many 'first' Ubisoft games often are.
After GTA V that really doesnt look very impressive but I dont care. As a game it looks fantastic. Its already paid for and I cant wait til May 27
regardless of "teh downgrade" the game looks really fun. i'm excited to see how interacting with the citizens plays out and i see a lot of replay value in it.

I have been worried about the game because of the delays of it but I never understood the hate it got due to graphics. The one thing that I have been excited for is the multiplayer that allows me to hack others and cause havoc in their world.

Well one can assume a couple things A) Cross over with Assassins Creed B) A bit more time to polish. C) Releasing it at the right time, when the consoles have their lul right before E3 making it have less competition.
The MP seems dark souls esk.....Which is really cool and will hopefully add a real interesting dynamic to the game. People coming in and just causing chaos.

Same. This game will determine how hyped I am for the Division though.
I think the Division will be the first truly next gen game from a graphics stand point. It is mind blowing the level of detail that is being showcased in that game. So far I think we have seen games that were built for previous generations and not the current gen, with some bells and whistles thrown in.

I hope that's the case, I really liked what they've shown for the division, but I'm guessing that was on a high end PC? Hope we'll see more at E3.
This is insanely far from Infamous graphics. At this point WD looks average at best and this is the superior console version, i can only imagine how ugly it'll be on x1...
I wonder if at some point I'll have to make it to a tall building to survey the surrounding area, lol.
Looks pretty good, there's too much FUD around at the moment when all we've got is a couple of trailers that aren't even direct feed. I'll wait till the launch.
Also some of those shots are really jarring, did they get the intern to put that together? It's painfully obvious they've just used a command to fly around without a HUD and recorded it.

didn't they say that would stop doing that? lol
It's gonna be even better if there's a conveniently placed dumpster to fall into.

I work in downtown Chicago for the last 4 years and I showed this trailer to my wife who isn't a gamer at all. She was very impressed as we saw the bridge we cross from the train station each day and the skyline and buildings were damn authentic, as was the Chicago River and Lower Wacker Drive. I'm very impressed. This game is back on my radar.

Ubisoft: Don't worry, we'll work out our gameplay ideas better in Watch_Dogs II ;)

I love doing that in every single AC game. I also loved doing it in far Cry 3.
Except for the trees in AC3s frontier. They piss me off. The amount of times I've died trying to get swing from one branch to the next ... You'd think it'd be easy seeing as you're playing an AC game, known for the good parkour, but nope, Conner rather jumps down killing himself.
LOL the poor man's Infamous for lems with low standards. Just like Dante's Inferno was poor man's GOW for lemmings to appease their perpetual jelousy.
Yeah but this games coming to practically every system. I don't think it's a lem thing.
It looks good to me too, but I'm extremely easy to please on graphics since I don't really care. The gameplay looks okay too, but the wait made me lose interest in it.
I'll probably get it anyway, and it's not like I would have gotten it for full price when I was fairly interested in it. There are only a few special cases where I do spend that much.
downgrade or not the game looks fun. I'd like to get this for PS4 but I know it wont be 60fps so PC it is.

Infamous a poor mans GT..........................I can't even do that to you since Infamous is not even in the same league as GTA.
Dante's was terrible compared to GOW3 which was a fine game.
Anyway, no jealousy at all just waiting for Watchdogs and hoping it is good.

I don't know what they have shown. The trailer you quoted though is an advert for The One. You should probably wait till the game comes out.
I was more impressed by GTA5 tbh, yet both aren't my cup of tea.
GTA is the king so any game that is open world really has a lot to live up to.
They share a lot in common, that's why I mentioned it ........ some open world games take a whole different approach like infamous.

You're insane. Watch Dogs easily looks comparable to Infamous Second Son.

watch again. shitty lighting, garbage shadows and probably crappy FXAA. This game looks like gta5 in 1080p.
I don't see how Watch Dogs is "insanely far from Infamous graphics". I don't see that at all. I think Watch Dogs easily looks better in some ways. I'll reserve judgement for when I actually can compare Watch Dogs and Infamous SS on my own display, but I know for a fact the difference isn't going to be massive no matter which one looks better.

You're comparing a sort-of open world game to a truly open-world game. Can you drive cars in Infamous? No. What buildings can you enter in Infamous? I can't remember many, if any. What interactions can you have with the people around you in Infamous? Hardly any.
Infamous is a great game, but you really should know what exactly you're talking about before you make a post.
