Wow, this is legit. I normally don't watch a lot of shows, but I will definitely be checking this out today at 9pm EST! Anyone else? I think this may be the best reviewed video tv/movie adaptation so it's worth a look. By the way, Sony is offering a discount on HBO Max for those that are interested!

I am. Hope it has good HDR/DV, House of the Dragon's was a bit messy at times.

I wonder if the TV show dictate what Sony allows Naughty Dog to do with the games and the stories of upcoming games. Will they bring the games in direct line with the show? I wonder if it's popular, will Sony make Naughty Dog do loads of spin-off stuff.

Probably. My brother then in law gave me his copy of the PS5 remake so maybe this will encourage me to play that too.

I no longer have any TV subscription other than Netflix but I am really tempted to sub just for the show. Last time I subbed to HBO was for Chernobyl and it was awesome so I have high expectations for TLoU.

Good so far. And as a fan of the games, I actually think Sarah death is better in the show than it is in the first game. I gotta say, they nailed Tommy's actor and Joel's as well. I'll give them that. And we can't forget about Marlene. Remember, this is the same actress from the game reprising her role in the series. You can't get more authentic than that.

You see Netflix, this is what the Resident Evil should have been better and HBO didn't stray away from the source material much.

Well done. Really liked it. Thought they really did well adapting the games script and fleshing parts out. Joel is perfectly cast.

Haven't seen it, but when i do watch it, i will be reminded of the Halo show.

Very good first episode. Changed enough that people that played the game won't get bored but still is faithful. I was initially worried about the casting and now I'm all better.

I love TLOU, it’s my favorite game by far.

I did enjoyed the show, except for one thing.

I really don’t live Ellie.

Maybe it’s just me, but Ellie on the game was a really likable character.

But the one in the show seems like they’re trying to force you to like her.

Not sure if that makes sense, but it like I really don’t care what happens to this one, unlike the game.

Half way in. That is some goooood stuff. But it does feel kinda weird watching the series knowing what happens next when I've already watched it in 2013.

Finished it. It's insane how far ahead this is compared to resident evil show/movies and the halo show. It's like one was made by professionals and the others were written in highschool.

Then again, this is your typical Sony quality. Standards are simply higher, much higher than it's competition.
