The first AC bored me to death.gameoftheringagreed. Not even interested. I would much rather they take all of that wasted effort, i.e. the beautifully constructed cities and superb animations, and implement a game to go with it. Rather than starting on a whole new game, finish the original one.
I think the first AC was overrated. Sure it was good, but, I think that people were so into the next gen hype (since it was just in its infancy when AC came out) that people overlooked the game's blandness.
I remember hearing about interacting with the environment and pushing past people's shoulders. It was nifty things like that that made me disillusioned to the boring gameplay mechanics.
Maybe I just didn't give it enough time, but I didn't like it too much

I believe they announced it before but I might be wrong. Well I'm delighted by this news, the first one was excellent and I hope Ubisoft can make it just as fun as the first one but without the repetition.lebanese_boyNow that would be cool.
Good to hear. Assassin's Creed was a lot of fun to play I thought, and I've been itching for a sequel.
And I expect a holiday release for AC2 much like the original and Prince of Persia. At least that is what I hope for, so I can continue the tradition of getting an Ubisoft game at Christmas. :P
There was a rumor that the second one wasnt going to follow the first ones story. Like a AC in the French Revolution or something?LOXO7
It would probably follow the story of... well the guy in our present time and he has to go into an Animus again because he has another ancestor who was a great assassin but was in a different time period, I could definitely see that.
But they said they wanted this to be a trilogy, so I'm assuming, maybe too much, that the final installment will take place in present day. Cars driving around, still able to climb up any building, gunfire, all that nonsense. That's what I predict anyways.
The first AC bored me to death.gameoftheringThe first 3 hours was cool, but after that , " bored me to death " is a good way to put it.
The first assassins creed was amazing i beat it 3 times already. To be honest people dissing the game or never finished it are no doubt casual gamers who couldn't handle the fact it takes time. or they may just not like it.DivinitySkatei was pumped for it and it just dissapointed... the gameplay was lacking on sooo many points, the assassinations consisted of standing there listening to your target talk, walk up to him (with almost no plan/strategy), killling him, then running away... if i remember correctly only two targets actually tried to run...I'll try the next one but only after listening to the people who felt the same way I did after playing the first one

I don't think i played the first one for more than 20 minutes i thought it was so repetitive and boring. Good news for people who enjoy the game though.rmerri52okay, first of all, in 20minutes, you are really not playing the actual game yet... fakeboy.. me smells... :?
