Your boy Kirby is back, and better than ever. Nintendo has really out done themselves on this new addition. The game has been cleaned up nicely yet still remains just as i remember. Gotta love Nintendo for helping us and others enjoy the games we loved just as they were. The Nintendo Online Expansion Pack just keeps getting better and better. This and Gamepass is all you need, massive amounts of new and old content for a super cheap price. And the updated version comes with up to 4 players local and online multiplayer. Sweet!

Is SW ready for some more Kirby action, ready to relive your childhood or someone elses?

@mesome713: what a massive improvement, and it doesn't change the feel of the game either.

Normally, I trust DF's comparisons but whatever. That's a helluva improvement over the N64 for sure. I still own Kirby 64 though, so can't really justify paying Nintendo Online just for this. And another reason why I keep my old consoles/games.

Looks good but not adding in ambient occlusion is a missed opportunity. Would've really added depth to the game and improved the visuals even more

Internal resolution increase which is possible on every N64 emulator out there? This is groundbreaking? ROFLMAO. You could probably even squeeze widescreen and 60fps out of the N64 version with emulation.

Looks good, it's a great game, but I will stick with my N64 version or just play it on PC in 4k with my Retrode64

Truly something to get excited over lmao. Decent game though, but not one of my favourite Kirby games.

Are people on here being sarcastic about the “massive improvement” or am I missing something? It just looks like a resolution upscale with maybe slight AA (I can still see jaggies though they’re reduced).

@Postosuchus: Yeah, I remember seeing jaggies as a kid, it’s just as I remember, it looks amazing.

No, you are not missing anything.

You've been able to play better versions of this Kirby game for years already. Nintendo is actively shutting down ways people have to enjoy Nintendo's old games, while giving people no other option to play them instead. Just dripfeeding their fans a few of their games over the span of a long ass time while making them pay for it. All of those VC games you bought on their earlier systems where they actually sold their legacy games for people to play whenever they want? LOL, gone. Now you gotta pay up again, and get way less for it.

@Litchie: Bro you just jelly. This is best version Nintendo has ever delivered and it’s basically free. Nintendo still the best.

@mesome713: Jelly of what? Being a living unpaid ad? I have a Switch and its online, and the latter is ass.

I'm jelly of other companies that have largely lag free online and lets you keep the games you buy on an account.

@Litchie: Must be why it has more members than Xbox and Sonys online membership.

@mesome713: From what I could find, Sony has around 47 million, while Nintendo has 32. I actually had no idea Nintendo had that many subscribers. That's lame.

But yeah, Sony seems to have more subs.

"Nintendo has really out done themselves on this new addition."

Like... Half an hour tweaking their emulation settings. :-S
