Kinect just became irrelevant: WiFi motion sensing can control tv and everything

Kinect(lol) was irrelevant to me in 2009. The only thing I was mildly amused with it was playing ME3 and using it for my dialogue choices, but that would of been possible with just a mic. Beyond useless for gaming for me and a loath it and any motion control gaming. Attempting demos of various games proved my opinion on it over and over. Heil68

look as much as i love sony and the ps3/4. 
This is NOTHING compared to what Kinect does. Yes the wifi signal could be used for BASIC operations but to do what kinect can do in terms of recognizing different body movements, nope. 

Lets be real, it'd be completely stupid to say "kinect just became irrelevant" after watching that video. From what I see , it looks like one movement (causes change in wifi signal) which results in ONE operation done.

Except this wifi thing is maybe kinect 1.0 accurate at best probably less so, and maybe more laggy. Kinect 2.0 is far more accurate and non laggy.

EDIT: Also people complain about Kinect and privacy in the front room, this wifi thing has the potential for full house sonar.

Not a fan of Kinect but that looks a lot less precise and limited. Kinect scans your whole body while WiFi motion only detects waves.....
