what game(s) did you say while playing just one more check point/save spot/finsh level and ill stop playing for now and keep saying that when you get to the next one and you end up playing hours more?

one game for me was Assassins Creed, i always kepy saying one more eagle vision tower (or whatever they were called) and then ill stop, then id look for another one and another then do a side mission and then see a flag and wana get more then close to another tower and always ended up being an hour 2 or 3 more from when i was guna stop playing

The worst game for me regarding just one more...was Daiblo II. I sank countless hours into that game.

Same thing happened to me TC. I couldn't stop myself from climbing all of those towers.

Borderlands- Just one more mission

Mass Effect 1 & 2- just one more planet

GT5/Forza 3 - just one more race

Crackdown- just one more orb

The Witcher 2/Fallout 3/Oblivion- just one more quest

inFamous 2- Just one more shard

Yeah, it's a problem with me, but a good one.

Civilization is classic example. It's worse in SM's Pirates because there really is no level/checkpoint/save spot and everything is real time so when you go to port and think "let's end this session after going to the bar" and the bartender gives you a info on a gold-filled ship traveling not far from you. And this repeat until your alarm clock rings.

Most games usually have that effect on me when I'm supposed to be doing something else.

The last game that I just couldn't stop playing without needing to get something else done was Persona 4. My entire weekend was pretty much 30 hours of that game.:P 40 if you let me count the Friday that lead into it.

WoW. Pretty much anybody who plays knows this. You say you're done after this quest, and you see the rewards for the next quest, or it's a quest that won't take you long. It's like Blizzard knows that you want to leave but then give you these quests.

inFamous, Rock Band games, MAG (which is even more worse because Domination matches last a long time :P), Halo: Reach, and CoD 4 MW come to mind (not all check point related, but "just one more _____" related).

I'm playing through it atm as well, I just started chapter 6.

Kind of disappointed that they toned down the dread/horror elements so much from the first game.

Civilization is still the king of that for me. 'Just one more turn' ends up being 'Nine o'clock tomorrow morning still sitting at my desk with empty NOS bottles littered everywhere'

The Mass Effects games kept making me want to play despite there being an anywhere save feature.

I also kept telling myself "just one more day" in the Persona titles.

ye i also seem to think its a bit toned down...still a good game though.. upto chapter 9.. One of the things which continuesly terrified me (maybe not u, but me) was that necromorph that kept stalking u through the first game and wouldnt die!.. Havnt had anything like that so far in ds2 :(

By the time I stopped cause I realize that I had school the next day. I knew what I had done and knew that this game is gold and Game of the Year.
