Just Cause 1 was a eh game. Just Cause 2 was a badass game. Just Cause 3 was a meh game.
Are you hyped or intent on buying Just Cause 4?

Not really, I wasn't a great fan of Mad Max and Just Cause 3 ... and now Avalanche is making THREE games at the same time :/
JC4... Rage 2... what is the 3rd?
Just Cause 3 was made by their New York studio and they removed a lot of moves that were present in Just Cause 2 including the grapple whip, dodge roll, and running. To me Just Cause 3 just felt bad as a result (not liking the wing suit really didn't help matters either).
Hopes aren't high for #4.
Nope. The games are fun for about 2 hours and then I hit that monotonous wall. I'll wait until I get a copy with my humble bundle monthly subscription.
I enjoyed the hell out of Just Cause 3. It was a turn your mind off and just enjoy blowing stuff up game and gliding around Medici was fun as hell. This one looks to be more of that fun, so I'm definitely for it.
They’re those games that I always thought looked pretty cool but just never got around to playing any of them. I imagine the same thing will happen with this latest one as well. Just a case of too many other games that I want to play.
@BenjaminBanklin: Its for people who enjoy playing games and not watching them, but i totally understand that a cow such yourself doesn't get it.
Love the series and will be all over 4 upon release.
Im looking forward to putting one end of the grappling hook to an enemies leg and the other end to a gas bottle only to shoot it and watch the gas bottle fly into the air with enemy in tow, so much fun.
I've enjoyed most of the JC series; the first one was all right, the second clearly the best, and the third game was pretty fun but a bit too diluted down from JC 2 imo.
I am optimistic, but not hyped. I will see how it looks after release.
I do love it's over-the-top action, corny dialogue, and action-movie plot.
Eh. I played a bit of Just Cause 2 (screw GFWL, RIP - Rot In Pieces), and have Just Cause 3 in my Steam library, but have yet to touch it.
I'll keep a quarter of an eye on it.

A Battle Royale game, Generation Zero.
They are a big studio for sure, but Mad Max and Just Cause 3 just showed me their lack of focus.

Their main focus is Rage 2. they are working with id software so that game has most effort they put on.
others are just a filler.
nah. i didn't like jc3. i know it's all about the blockbusting action but if the puddle deep gameplay was more layered / nuanced it would've kept my attention for longer. jc3 was a couple of hours of disengage-your-brain fun before the novelty began to wear off

Shut up, stupid. I played all three. Three was a step backward for me and I'm not feeling this one. The combat's only getting more awkward, it ran like dogshit last time, and it didn't evolve, this looks like more of the same.
