Just Cause 3 Runs at 900p on the Mighty X1 and 1080p on the PS4

peaking to GamingBolt, game director Roland Lesterlin was asked whether the Xbox One would have a native 1080p resolution. He responded that, “The game runs at 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One. We do so much with physics and screen space effects, that we are confident our players will thoroughly enjoy themselves no matter the platform they play the game on.”

Among other titles to run at 900p on the Xbox One recently include Ghost Games’ Need for Speed which was also 1080p resolution on the PS4.

I just bought 3 copies of Halo 5. There was nothing to play but Forza for the last two years I've owned my Xbox One. I'm gonna share two copies to my two friends who will surely dust off their Xbox now

If higher resolutions are your goal, consoles are not the way to get there. PC>>>Consoles for resolution. Everything else is just nitpicking for 2nd place.

2. Cows don't praise only 1080p...we praise the fact that 99% of the time the resolution is higher on the X1.

Without DX12 and cloud etc I bet it would be 720p on the Bone with 25fps plus dips. Poor lems have a whole multiplat gen ruined for them.

Bloodborne, Batman AK, TW3, MGSV, Infamous SS, Horizon, UC4 campaign, Fallout 4, COD Blops3 and tons more say f**k you little kid. And those that are 900p have 60fps more often than not. AC games, watchdogs and Evil Within have trash gameplay tho lol.

It's a good thing I have a gaming PC otherwise I'd be furious.

You saying that the game doesn't look good makes the Xbox One look bad since it runs a "not good looking game" at 900p. Isn't it supposed to be: When a game isn't visually impressive then hardware usually runs it at a higher resolution.

I disagree with you though....JC3 is visually impressive.

Wonder if X1 would have the better framerate.
