Joystiq is calling the PS3 oblvion a DOWNGRADE. Thats right folks, a downgrade. Their reason? Because the new shader code (that makes long distanced textures better) will eventually be patched into the 360 version and the PS3 has less downloadable content.
I guess Joystiq missed both IGN and GameSpots previews which said the game had sharper textures, 50% less load times, less "pop-in", farther draw distance, and a better frame rate? Sad, sad, sad little Joystiq.
so since when does them both versions being "equals" mean that the PS3 version is a downgrade? cus the article simply says that with the new shader patch, both will pretty much look the same
I still don't get this "Memory Limitation" thing. Surely they could of had the mods on the Blu-Ray disc....(The access and read speed can't be THAT bad)
