Mass Effect has been the only outstanding game so far, i would like to add Heavy Rain, but after completeing it i realsied i had zero interest in playing it again.
Replayability is important to me in singleplayer games, but the initial experiance was excellent.
Here's to hoping Halo Reach, Alan Wake and RDR are as good as people are hyping them
true but to me 2007>2008 altough wonder what would happen in mW2 and uncharted 2 came out this year Hmmmmm2008 > 2007. But yes, 2010 is looking to be the best year this generation.

People forget 2004, a year of awesomeness, full of classics.
Far Cry, Doom 3, Half-Life 2, Riddick, Rome Total War, GTA:SA, MGS3, KOTOR 2, World of Warcraft, Dawn of War, Halo 2,
a lot of these we are still playing today.
And I would say it's the last glorious year of PC games.
