I want to hear opinions from people that played it in the n64 days. I know snes super mario world and mario 64 are pretty damn good but I think paper mario 64 takes it forever and always

WOT!! I thought paper mario 64 was way better than paper mario 2, it had cooler partners such as sushi. It had cool story lines and the koopa gang, the ENVIRONMENTS were AMAZING! I didnt like the starting location in paper mario 2, I liked the forest one in paper mario 1 and the koopa town, man that game is so amazinghadokenTTYD has a much better storyline. The 64 one is recycled from SMRPG.

True, though I like how they managed to make Bowser come across as an actual threat for once in Paper Mario 64.
My favorite mario game is SMW but that could be because of nostalgia. CoolSkAGuyNope, it's still awesome.
If World has any flaw, it's that by nature being early in the SNES life-cycle, the graphics could have technically been better.
Well, that, and I remember always being disappointed that World did not feature the volume of power-ups that had been in 3. Granted, having the cape and Yoshi were better, much better, than any power-up that was in 3.
TTYD is better.

It is better, but I think I enjoyed 64 more, strangely enough lol. I would say these and Super Mario 64 are the top 3.
no. not at all.
that said, everyone with a Wii needs to downloadit from the Virtual Console immediately.
Mario 64 is borderline broken compared to whats out there today
It was close to cutting edge at it's time but it's aged horribly and is worth a play only as a history lesson, there is little joy to be taken from it if you have the ability to play anything from the current generation
What does that have to do with the topic?Mario 64 is borderline broken compared to whats out there today
