With games like DMC4 (come on, in Japan there are going to be 0 sales on the 360 version), Biohazard 5 (same), Resident Evil 5 (same), Monster Hunter 3 (PSP version is the best selling game in Japan right now), Hot Shots golf 5, White Knight story, FFXIII, FFVSXIII, Shin Megami Tensai, Disgaea 3, MGS4, Zone of the Enders 3,Gran Turismo 5/prolouge, and whatever the hell game this is.......Imabi Kisou (ranked 20 on the last top 20 wanted games).

DQ9 is on the DS, and most of Nintendo's huge qwirky games are on the DS as well. Metroid apparently doesn't do that great business in Japan (it wasn't on famitsu's top 20...being so close to release). Brawl/galaxy will be big. And then after that.....what?

no, the PS3 is simply too exspensive and Japan's love of N games is simply too strong.

Yet I believe that Brain Age was a cultural phenomenon in Japan long before it was here in the U.S. or Europe, correct? Same goes for Wii Sports, since that isn't bundled there.

Oh, and Japan also just had a DQ game release there in June, so that gives the Japanese a reason to buy a Wii, not to mention Metroid, Brawl, and Galaxy are coming out there this year too. Wii Fit is also scheduled for a 2007 release in Japan.

Um... Biohazard 5 = Resident Evil 5.

And yes, it's possible, though hardly plausible, at least this year and most probably the next.

You guys are thinking of the Japanesse from an American mindset. They have a completly different culture. They are obsessed with maintaining their cultural haratage and working together as a culture. Every single console generation has been exactly the same. They latch onto one console and then buy virtually nothing else. Look at the 360. Probably the best console right now and Microsoft can't give away 360's over there. This gen it's the Wii and it will be for several years minimum.

WiiFit will hit. Nintendo will somehow convince them all to work out every day or bad thigs will happen to them. Animal Crossing is going to be big too along with the Mario games.

It's very possible.

Once the PS3 gets games that appeals to Japan then it will start to catch up.
