I clocked God of War 1 the other day, and straight after, I went to buy the DMC 3 SE, played it, and unimpressived. Why are there so much hype about Devil May Cry? I mean, sure it looks good, but it doesn't play as good as God of War, eventhough there is a alot of similarity between the mechanics of the two games, GoW obviously copied DMC but also improved its mechanics. What do you guys think? GoW is truely a system killer app, if it is released on PS3, I will not hesitate to get a PS3 even if the price is still high in the thousands in Australia. What do you guys think?
Devil May Cry 3's battle system is awhole lot deeper than GoW, and the game is also more difficult. That's probably 2 of the main reasons why i preferred it over GoW.
GOW and DMC3 aren't really similar games..... DMC isn't buttom mashing in close too the same extent. Although IMO NG xbox shows that DMC is a bit overrated. NG is simply outstanding for its yet too be defined subgenre.
I don't need no game to tell me DMC is overrated. I bought the first DMC, beat and never looked back. The first one wasn't good enough to warrent a purchase of the second one. Same goes for Metal Gear Solid. I played the first two, then lost interest because it was the same game over and over. Just better graphics, new story, and new areas, but the same game.
DMC IS AWESOME CAKES BACK OFF Devil May Cry is the hardest games i've played but its so sick. i never beat it tho. the whole Switch Canceling moves you can do is awesome cakes. Slash up>Switch>Cerbus uppercut again>Switch>Pistols While enemy in midair>Double Jump>SHOTGUN BOOM! ownage... Best Beat Em i played.

How does that make it the Same game? Can you tell me? The gameplay got different. Story different. Area different. Character Different. ITS A COMPLETLY DIFFERENT GAME.... Stop hating teh Metal Gears.
I played GOW before playing DMC 3 I think thats why I didnt like it, well I thought it was alright, it was just fustrating most of the time because of the ridiculous restart points.
Well I dont care if you think DMC is over rated or not, cuz IMO DMC is better. Plus i can get both of the new games when they come out! 8) Its a win/win.
