Is DOOM worth $20?

Sorry, not much conversation going on here. Just saw that DOOM is $20 on PSN flash sale. Thinking of making an impulse buy. Worth it?

I bought it for $17 on greenman. Played it for an hour and it's a lot of fun, I thought the qte would get extremely boring quick but it hasn't so far. Well worth it.

I'm picking it up tomorrow, but from what I played of the demo, it's hella fun. That performance on PC is ridiculous.

I think the real question is. Is your $20 worthy of DOOM!

If you're not sure, don't buy it. There's a demo for the PC. So, there may also be demos for consoles. Try that one first.

I tried the demo first. The moment I got into the first spacious room and I was circle-strafing like crazy, I knew the game's for me.

Yeah, I kinda have a craving for absolute chaos. Sounds like DOOM might scratch that itch.

@reduc_ab_: Ooh it does. It is fast, frantic and absolutely unapologetic in what it is. Absolute mayhem. And for the most part a middle finger to most modern FPS conventions. It is worth the 20 bucks, enjoy man ^^ Remember to smile.

Absolutely. I got it at 15 and would have still been thrilled with it at 60. Such a purely fun game.

I was a bit shy to come forward with that opinion, and i'm glad somebody else agrees. I had a kickass time with the story mode and i'm enjoying the multiplayer. Definitely a contender for GOTY at this point. It's between thing and Xcom 2, anyway.

Just bought the game now. I played the demo which was awesome and I wanted to buy the game but was busy with a lot of stuff but when this sale came up I just had to buy and I finally get to test my new PC for this game :)

Got it for $10 from Psn they have it for $19..99 but they gave me $10 coupon (and a bunch of other people from what I've read online) and they are also giving everyone 10% off any purchase. Pretty nice deal
