Along with the announcement, a number of companies took the time to announce 6 core H-series laptops in the >15" range.

Dell XPS 15 (9570) - up to Core i9-8950HK

Alienware 15R4 & 17R5 - up to Core i9-8950HK

ASUS ROG Zephyrus M GM501 - up to Core i7-8750H

ASUS ROG Zephyrus GX501GI - up to Core i7-8750H

Digital Storm Equinox S:8955 - up to Core i7-8750H

Gigabyte Aero 15 v8 - up to Core i7-8750H

Some other companies that announced laptops include Samsung, Origin, MSI and Acer

Apple is pulling the plug on Intel and going to start making their own chips again. And with everything going mobile Intel is on a slow burn to the groud if they dont get their stuff together. I have strong feelings they may go the route of IBM and be for enterprises only.
