Infamous Second Son SLAUGHTERS Ryse in graphics

It's an open world game with massive scale, it is native 1080p, it has better AA method, it has crazy gpu particles and it doesn't dip below 24fps. At this stage Ryse isn't even in the same league for being 900p, narrow corridor environment, less advanced AA and struggles at 24fps. SS cleans the house technically and then some, it is handily the best looking nextgen console game due on March 21st. Yes, it even beats out Killzone SF which is a linear game. Start packing lemmings, start packing :).

The game looks gorgeous, but from all recent actual videos of the game, shadows (and lighting in general) have been far less pronounced and decent than these shots....

so unless they have upgraded the visuals in the last couple of weeks?

The Xbone's architecture is extremely bottlenecked and limited. The only console that's going to improve in performance throughout this gen is the PS4. Xbone will stagnate.

From Crytek Devs using the Cryengine, 900p, small enclosed corridor, frame rate drops as low as 14fps...yea left that out...

Crytek was on the job here! MS can't hire anybody better to make their games look better than these guys, they got destroyed by a game from Sucker Punch...SUCKER PUNCH and in an open world game to boot, DAMN!

RYSE was optimized through the f*cking teeth.

It's extremely linear, 900p and runs at 15 FPS. If the power gap really wasn't as big as cows were saying, there is no way an open-world game with dynamic environments should look FAR BETTER than RYSE.

There is only 1 explanation for and it's that the Xbone is only a 300 GF machine rather than a 1300 GF console. It's bottlenecked design is preventing devs from utilizing most of its power.

Can you stop posting bullshit? These are screens captured with the SHARE button by GAF posters. Some of the posters there got the game early. Is there no end to your butthurt shit posting?

Well Ryse is currently the best looking Xbox One game and will remain the best looking Xbox One game for quite a while now too. Infamous: SS is FAR ahead of it and we already know that better looking games are right around the corner, for instance The Order 1886, and virtually every mulitplat.

Well the game has to be good first of all and that remains to be seen but go ahead and over hype.1080p,graphics didnt help Killzone and we should all know by now screenshots shown before a game is released always look great.

That's not something to be excited about. That's like saying, "this game never becomes so choppy that it's literally impossible to play! so awesome". I mean, yeah, it's good that it doesn't get any worse than that, but if it even gets that bad, that's pretty shitty. Double that number and I'll be excited.

It certainly does look good though. Pretty much the first thing I've seen of next gen consoles that actually makes me think "next gen" looking at it. In my opinion, they could (and should) pull back just a little bit of that polish in order to bump that framerate bottom-line up to an even 30. But it's not like it matters to me. Don't own a PS4, probably never will, and I'm not interested in this series.

Does look good though.

they've already started doing that. Kinect Sports Rivals and Ryse are testament.

People are already playing the game, and it looks absolutely fun as hell.

I don't know where this connect between having amazing graphics and shit gameplay started but it's really hilarious that some of these users keep following this frame of thought.

Agreed. For some reason tons of people seem to think that it's impossible to have both good graphics and good gameplay. As if one cancels out the other. And at the same time (and probably for the same reason), those same people all act like just being excited about good graphics (or disappointed in not-so-good graphics) makes a person a graphics whore who doesn't care about gameplay.
