id just rather play counterstrike source than play halo. its just somehting about halo that i dont like and something about counterstrike that i do like. ill have to play both some more and know exactly what it is.
Well, userbase wise, you win. I can argue about the graphics, gameplay, etc., but the userbase is still the best measurement of the success of the game. SO, yes, I can agree with you.
The reason I don't like CS is many of the players have been playing it for over 5 years so all n00bs get owned by experience. After like 2002 it became impossible for new players to become any good because they get pwned while trying to develop their skills. Anyway, I prefer my avatar to CS.
W/ CSS it's quick rounds, easy kills, and when you kill somebody they stay dead. Also you get to choose your stuff when you start.
W/ Halo it's rocket launchers, vehicles, and CTF, not to mention everybody has mics which makes smack talk so much better (most people on CSS never talk, unless they're part of a clan then they're on Vent or something). I also like the levels better.

Exactly why I like CSS. Although there are a couple cool people on the normal mic chat but I prefer kicking it with my clan members on vent :D
Its not opinion, CS and CSS are the most played online action game FACT. No opinion needed. De_Dust is also the most played online map on any game from any platform.

I enjoy counter strike a lot (1.6, CZ, CSS), been playing it every so often for at least 2 years. It's hard for me to imagine a game topping this FPS multiplayer online.

Playing high skilled players just means you get better faster, all your need is talent and patience. If anything it helps you becasue you can watch and learn..

True, I guess I meant to say that the learning curve for a newbie into a game where people are 5 and 7 year vets is really steep.
