IGN: TitanFall is XBox One flagship game (and other tidbits)

I was one of the rare few to have been accepted to play the TitanFall Closed Alpha.

This is no doubt the flagship of THE ONE. I hope some of you have the pleasure to enjoy it at least one point in your life.

I played Titanfall and it is fun, not worth 60$ in my opinion unless they add new modes and more content for a MP only title $60 is a quite a lot to be asking. Also flagship title? The game is multiplatform!!! When people see that they can get this on 360 or PC will it warrant a purchase of the One?

I agree. This will be a big game for MS, as it is going on two of their platforms. Having it available for 360 may put a dent in the system selling ability for the X1 though. Either way, the game looks like a lot of fun, and it isn't going to be playable on PS3, or PS4 unfortunately. I already have buddies planning a get together at one's house because he has an X1.

Agree. I have no problem with MP only games considering some of my fav games are L4D, TF2, CS but none of them were $60.

I do love MP only games loved Warhawk, Love L4D, TF2, CS(( Great taste and great games) also all were priced at 30-40 bucks 60 is a little gauging.

For managing and manuevering the A.I. bots, I'm sure.

GOD, lemmings just stop, i can play this on my freakin computer, lots of cows can play this on their pc. Its a freakin Source game, you know a engine that pretty much can play on any half way decent computer. Man, im down talking about this game, lemmings have no faith in their exclusives.

This game is going to flop... Calling it in the air. Maybe not sales wise and maybe not even score wise (still predicting a 7/10 though)... but there will be no lasting appeal with so many bots and so few players.... the servers will be DEAD within 2 months... 6v6? Yeah, because everybody that plays a lot of respawn games knows that is plenty.. right? I mean right? lol... The bots? Really... that better be an option you can turn off or this game doesn't have a chance long term.

It's the flagship game for the first half of the year. It won't be the One's flagship franchise because the franchise won't be exclusive (and isn't now, if we're being real about it). That will continue to be Halo and Forza.

I'm interested in what's happening with the Gears franchise too.
