IGN says system war is over!!!!!! Now we see the real victor!

From a technological perspective the true victor is obvious and has been. Also the wii isn't in her, which should go without saying in a technological breakdown.. Anyway read and comment! :)

So how does the PS3 win? Technologically? Then the PC beats it. Games-wise? Then the PC beats it.

It's pretty even with the 360 and this has been debated to death.

Last gen the xbox and gamecube had much better hardware than the ps2. We all know how that turned out.

It's been posted in *this* forum a number of times. It's just common courtesy to search and not clog up the board with previously debated topics (previously, as in very, very recently).

If the system war was won on tech alone the pc would win.

but its not, its also based on sales and quality titles, which the PC also beats out consoles in.

Last I checked the PC was a system in the system war (Not much of a war imo)

The PS3 smoked the x360 slim, i wonder what could happen if the compared the old x360 .... losing by defualt :lol: .

anyway, i never knew that the RAM of the PS3 is faster and more effient, lemmings around here are good at hiding the facts !!!!

Well, going by my experience with both consoles, i honestly believe 360 is capable of the exact same graphics as PS3.

IYO its the best. I actualy think overal 360 is maybe a better game console. With 360, I never had to really compromise or apologize for it. I had to do that with PS3 for its first 2 years or so. Plus, it getting the better multiplatform is a huge plus for me gaming on it more.
