This was already pulled down, senior staff already apologized and someone is no doubt getting terminated but geez is this in poor taste and unprofessional. What we do for arguing and entertainment on forums like this is one thing, but this coming from the most reputable gaming editorial in the industry is disgusting.

GameSpot had this problem too, it's like they allow such behavior around the office but not publicly, hence why things happened like Dead Rising 3 getting a 3/10 on PC because the game was shit on for being an MS console exclusive (don't think that guy wrote another review), or in the first year reviews of the consoles videos they did a few years back those who bought an XB1 said they were flipped shit by everyone else in the offices, heck even the Division discussion video they did started with one guy going something like "OMG the XB1 version is absolutely the worst looking version"; yeah, its like it's okay office talk they're just not supposed to make it overt publicly. I blame NeoGAF's affect on gaming journalist.

There is no way that black panel can be 16:9 so I can definitely see why Xbox fans would be mad. Its one thing to have no games and all, but to not show no games in that True 4k you just spent 500 bucks on is completely intolerable! Boo, IGN. Boo!

As much as I don't like lemmings and the xbox. I agree. Saw it on facebook, and didn't like it. It's alright here in System Wars, because that's the point of this forum but you're supposed to be objective.

For a site like them that is always saying there is no console war or favoritism to do that and throw gas on the fire is totally bad form. And no I would not like it, if it was a different console. Typical consumers follow them for real news not fanboyism.

Let's just all take a moment to appreciate the fact that a fanbase has become so weakened and feckless this generation that the gaming press can take pot shots at them. Whether the post was taken down or not, the meaning behind it endures. Good laughs were had.
