If you have a tinge of decency and you like good games and Halo, you will boycott Halo 6

Halo 5 is the last straw. We must make it clear to MS that 343 are filled with untalented, unimaginative, useless hacks incapable of making a proper Halo game. 343 just wants to make COD clones. That's all they know...they aren't interested in pushing technology, pushing stronger narratives, pushing gameplay mechanics to the very edge. They want to keep things simply and just do what everyone else is doing. On top of that, Halo isn't their game and is now completely under MS's control so they are a yes-man developer with little creative control. Please, make a stand with me and avoid Halo 6 like the plague.

Chill out dude. I'm no Halo or Xbox fan but I don't think 343 untalented hacks like you claim. I think they need more time to develop Halo, MS is rushing them too much. Halo needs to take a long break and 343 needs to be given time to make a really good Halo game. This wouldn't be a problem if MS had more franchises to lean on but MS doesn't have shit besides HaloGearsForza and of the three Halo is their only big seller these days.

If you like single player games designed totally for multiplayer that make you wonder WTF they were thinking then I implore you to play Halo 5, an absolute fucking mess but apparently quite good in MP.

I love its Firefight mode. Story was the main element I feel they dropped the ball on, but mainly not their lack of ability to but Microsoft's direction in attempting to monetize supplemental media (Halo movies, episodes, books, etc). I also think their problems with MCC were related to releasing several game online modes in one package created a few too many issues, aside drop that, don't think 343 is lacking any talent. I look forward think their next game.

I really enjoyed Halo 5 myself. I liked the idea behind the story but the execution of it was a bit off. Other then that I thought that it was an excellent game and am really looking forward to Halo 6.

Nah. It’s campaign may have been disappointing, but I had a whole lot of fun with the multiplayer. Fun that I haven’t had with the multiplayer since 3 or even 2.

I’ll get Halo as long as it is on Xbox One. I love the franchise. It’s a guilty pleasure.

I do concede that it isn’t reaching the heights of its predecessors developed by Bungie, and I don’t think I’ll buy another console for a single franchise in future gens. So while I won’t boycott Halo 6, I can see 6 being my last Halo game due to the direction of the series.

5 was absolute trash, and the game that convinced me to return my XB1. After being spoiled so much by the 360, going from Bungie in the X360 to 343 on the XB1 is like going from super-fancy sushi to donkey scat.

I mainly buy Halo games for their story. And i will say that H5's story is the worst one so far. The multiplayer is great but still has its flaws. The HCS i feel has too much influence on the game. Too many smurfs. The firefight respawn timer sucks.

If you don't like the series anymore then just don't buy it, plain and simple. There are way better things to boycott out there, like this thread.

Yeah nope. Halo 5, I agree is the weakest of the campaigns, is still a good game. Its MP is the best I've played this gen. They aren't saying anything about Halo as Ross said until they are ready to. I am not boycotting a game that for all intents and purposes will be a good game. Enjoy your crusade.

343 did a good job with Halo 4. I don't know what happened with Halo 5, but 343 fucked up big time. I am not going to boycott Halo 6 because it may actually be good. However, I am certainly not going to get too hyped for it after the disaster that is Halo 5.

Decent Halo is better than no Halo at all.

Poor lem doesnt know when hes downgrading his flagship game. Uncharted doesnt sell millions for its multiplayer. So go ahead and continue to expose halos downgrade when it comes to impact on the gaming industry by comparing them.

Funny thing is id probably still rather play uncharteds multiplayer lol

Did I play the same game as the OP becuase I enjoyed Halo 5. Heck even the story was kinda intriguing if not somewhat anti climatic a bit. 343 did a great job with the multiplayer and is some of the best fun I've had with a MP experience outside of Overwatch. So yeah I'll be buying 6 copies of Halo 6 just to show support.

I just hate how since Halo 4 every weapon turned into a mini sniper rifle. Much harder to kill people from long distances in Halo 2 and 3 unless you had the sniper or spartan laser.

Or lets boycott Halo altogether and make Microsoft..........dare I say it............ come up with a brand new AAAE IP instead.........

I love Halo 5 and the gameplay changes 343I made were very risky, they cannot make small changes without being blasted by the Hardcore Halo fans. I think they did an amazing job with Halo 5 and very much look forward to Halo 6. The gameplay in Halo 5 is more visceral and action packed than before, I like it better than previous Halos. I think 343I will hit their stride with Halo 6 and all the feedback they got from Halo 5 will help.

Let me guess was it the least ambitious Halo game ever? Lowest amount of features couped with minimal content? Absolutely zero community involvement and competitive Halo completely tanking? lol.

Agreed. And I'm a Halo fan. Would be nice if they were working on a play anywhere version Halo 6. I have an Xbox One but would much rather play it on PC.

If 343 made a new IP it would suck. They're just bad devs.
