PC, but I keep seeing people throwing The Last of Us around still. Must be difficult to wait for another quality game lol.

Honestly, TLOU was one of those once-in-a-generation awesome games, unlike that CoD-clone, Titanfall. I think it's warranted.

Then, you console gamers turn on eachother and argue about which console has a slightly higher resolution. You guys argue about everything from value to power but as soon as a PC guy comes in saying "why not go PC? You get a better quality of everything you're arguing about!" you turn around and say "WELL GRAPHICS AND VALUE DON'T MATTER! IT'S ABOUT THE GAMES YOU HERMIT!"

I haven't played on a recent decent PC but I still vote console because of the games.

There is not a single game anywhere announced as a PC exclusive that's a must play for me, can't say the same about some of the upcoming console exclusives.

Now games like The Witcher and DA: Inquisition will play a lot better on PC but at least I still get access to them along with Destiny, Halo, the Order, the upcoming Zelda/Metroid games, etc.

The Stomping Ground. You get to play a freaking caveman who builds towns by morning and tames freaking dinosaurs so you can ride them while hunting other dinosaurs in the afternoon. I, and seven of my friends, are going to get to team up and take down a T Rex with nothing but a frantic disregard for sanity and stone tipped arrows. Perhaps we can get a few dozen others to charge with us. Our deaths will be hilarious.

What is coming to PC? Thing I didn't even know I wanted. On the Console you play a movie. On PC we are the movie. Later this month my friends and I are going to make Jurassic Park meets Castaway directed by Mel Brooks. Have fun to with your sequels, sequels to a sequel,and your sequel to a game that was remastered within months of it's release.

Even so i'd still go with PC.

linear zombie shooter with impressive story presentation.... how is that once in a generation? it just did it better than the dozen others.

Sadly for you, Titanfall will still have a bigger impact, more sales and played by more for years as a franchise.

Most games I play and the ones I invest most of my gaming hours are multiplats, which are better on PC.

Consoles are not worth the couple yearly exclusives, out of which only 1 is worth it, and it turns out to be a movie-like rent and return experience.

On top of that, the PC exclusives offer more gameplay value, and don't focus in presentation to the point where they forget that games are meant to be played, not just spectated. More complex and challenging experiences, which are odd to find in the hand-holding console "games".

Consoles, unless you enjoy begging for ports, waiting for months for them to release after consoles, missing out on the biggest titles of the generation, and having the least number of Game of the Year exclusives.

Since I already do a good 90% of my gaming on PC, probably PC. Luckily I don't have to stick with just one so it'll be PC, PS4, Wii-U, Vita and 3DS this gen.

And this is why noone takes console fanboys seriously. You fight eachother on every thread about how one console is superior and the other one sucks and as soon as PC gamers challenge you, you suddenly refer to yourselves as a collective. That's not how it works. Almost noone has a PS3,PS4,360,XBONE,and WiiU. I should add that it's hilarious that with 5 consoles put together, almost double the cost of a good PC, PC still has almost 3 times as many "good exclusives"

Probably the same thing I've been doing for 15 years and that is playing on my PC of course.

*shrug* I always play on consoles every gen. Unless it's Sims, then I game on the PC. The Pc has great games but I don't have time to play those AND console games and handhelds.

Because PC is one thing. If I have a PC, I have made ONE purchase and I can play any game in the PC category of metacritic. There are no threads in SW talking about one PC being superior to another or how my PC has better sales than your PC. PC is ONE platform. I have refresh cycles on my PC too. After 7 years, I may decide that I need a better PC and I build a completely new one.

If I buy a Playstation 4, what do I get? I have made ONE purchase and this purchase is my PS4. I do not have any of the other consoles and I can only play games that are in the PS4 category of Metacritic. On SW, there are thousands of threads with PS4 owners bashing the Xbox and vice versa. There's threads comparing sales and exclusives and saying why one console is better than the other.

On Metacritic, games are divided between PS4,X1,PC. On digital foundary videos, they compare PS4,X1,and PC. When a game comes out, it will list compatibility with PS4,X1,PC. Whenever I ask someone what platform they game on, they will say PS4,X1,PC, never just "console"

I don't understand why you don't understand that "consoles" is not one platform. Each of you console gamers choose to take a side. Either Xbox, or PS4, sometimes Wii U. You engage endlessly in internet fights, trying to prove your PS4 is better than so and so's Xbox One. Yet, as soon as an anti PC thread backfires on you, you all quickly say you're the same platform and that your games should be added up together, even if a PS4 doesn't play Xbox games. Nothing's worse than a hypocrite...

@lostrib: it's the same place gta 5 is on the ps4 and xbox one.

Why would rock star release an inferior version of it, when they are working on xbox one and ps4 versions using more advanced features. It makes sense to develop the pc version along side the next generation consoles rather than last.

Anyway PC of course, my favorite game is football manager. I also play a lot of Microsoft flight simulator and I love horror games. Consoles really suck for horror games.

Also having the best experience on the multiplats is nice.

The only reason people would pick console is if they have never played a PC capable of playing all the new games at ultra settings 60fps.

QUESTION: When people are asked to make a top 10 best games of a generation list (let's say last generation), How many of those games are only available on PC vs how many are only available on consoles?
