http://www.hardcoregamer.com/2014/09/07/if-sims-4-doesnt-sell-there-wont-be-a-sims-5/102998/

The Sims 3 has sold more than 10 million copies.

Well, i hope there will be Sims 5 but totally different, more realistic and NO MORE DLC RIP OFF.

Sims 4 upgraded realism but removed some items like pool.

I played The Sims 4 today. It´s quite fun and great but i wish there were more items and stuff... i guess we have to wait DLC... but at least there are new features like:

  • Smarter Sims – Create and control smarter Sims with unique appearances, personalities, and emotions inThe Sims 4.
Create unique Sims and customize their appearance, fashion styles, personality traits, skills, careers, and walk styles. For the first time, Sims both feel and express emotions. Your Sims experience a range of emotional states driven by your actions and influenced by other Sims, events, and objects within the game. Emotions offer you more choices and give you the opportunity to create gameplay moments with even more possibilities. Enjoy how your Sims interact and express their distinct personalities in social settings within the game.
Create and control the mind, body, and heart of your Sims and bring your stories to life like never before inThe Sims 4.
  • Powerful, Creative Tools – Create A Sim and Build Mode are more powerful, intuitive, and fun than ever before. You have the control to sculpt Sims with tactile precision. Effortlessly construct the home of your dreams with the all new, room-based Build Mode.
  • Vibrant Neighborhoods – Experience new gameplay opportunities brought to life within vibrant and dynamic neighborhoods. Choose among beautiful and diverse lots for your Sims to build their homes and explore activities. Expand your social circle and interact with other Sims in the neighborhood and hang out in community parks and venues.
  • Rich Rewards – Earn new objects, outfits, and traits by completing events, discovering collectables, and unlocking achievements.
  • Share Your Creations – The Gallery allows you to browse, share, and download new content without ever leaving your game. Get inspired by rich content created by The Sims community and add new experiences to your game.

Alright, no more Sims 5 it is, then.

At least we'll always have the glory of The Sims 2, I guess.

EA: If you don't buy our game Sims 4 with its DRM, loads of DLC, and Microtransactions, we're not gonna make Sims 5!

Me: *shrugs shoulders and happily walks away*

The series had a hell of a run. Too bad it fell victim to EA's greed.

You think casul gamers care about the lack of pools? Shit will sell good.

It looks like more Sims, and that's what people seem to want. Good luck with taking EA down.

Well the main thing we should take from this is that I think EA has finally learned that Always Online is not always a good thing.

The Majority of complaints about this game are just "Less features" and not "Can't play the game".

They should let you play as a those NPCs you had in the previous games, let you be the burglar or gardener and whatever and be able to be put in prison where you have to get a good fitness skill not to be bullied and avoid shower mishaps.

The possibilities, but nope they remove the features that were there already.

Sims is one of the biggest franchises of all time. No way EA's not going to stop pumping out new games.

Please...it's a Sims game. They could sell a box with a plastic coaster in it and it would sell millions of copies. Sure the game is missing stuff, but there will be expansions the let you buy all of the stuff that used to be included with the game.

Is this supposed to be some sort of threat? As far as I'm concerned, everything EA touches is already dead. Make explotative, stripped down garbage, or don't make it. Doesn't matter to me. In fact, I sincerely hope The Sims bombs hard. Anything that hurts EA and helps put them out of business is fine by me. They need to cease to exist, gaming would be better off with them gone.

Unfortunately, The Sims 4 will sell like crazy. You've nothing to worry about, EA. Keep on truckin'.

LOL.

It will sell.

This just sounds like an attempt to guilt people into buying the game

It's amusing people think that it won't sell well. A lot of the people buying it won't frequent forums or gaming websites and probably have no idea about any possible shortcomings the game has. Even they do know that things have been taken out, do a lot of them actually care?

I would rather it died it's agonizing death than keep going at this point. It's not even that great of a series and they're running it into the ground anyway for lazy money, just like Sim City.

Not buying it sorry.
