Like if MS is serious about this crossplay thing it would be cool to be able to play the same game together with a sibling/friend on PC and XSX at the same time at no extra cost and it is cheaper than having 2 gaming PCs. Otherwise the way to go next gen, much like most of this gen is Sony/PC. I say this as an Xbro who's never owned a Sony console so idk I guess you have to be into Sony movie games to consider it.
If you don't game on PC, it's a solidly powerful console as opposed to last-gen across the board. XSX for multiplats and the PS5 for exclusives. As always, Ninty has some great games, so go nuts there as well.
Series X won't be supplemental to anything. It will be a good choice for people who don't want/can't afford a high end PC. Nobody will be buying this thing for exclusives it will be all about multiplats (the vast majority of games) and is backed up with Game Pass which is a very good thing.
I suppose it's down to the individual to decide how important Sony's exclusives are if they're undecided which console to buy but if multiplats are their main concern the Series X is simply a much better deal. The power difference is negligible and shouldn't be a factor on any level.
Why would you buy a $3000 PC to play ancient games?
I bought one to play modern games. It's okay to not wanna buy something man, but your broke ass do you.
Hey man, if you like poor optimization, game crashes, spending more time downloading drivers than actually playing games, using the lame keyboard and mouse setup and staring at rainbow lights in a case then you keep on doing you bro.

I was being facetious, but apparently this is the hill you wanna die on. I play 90% of games on my PC, and I can't remember the last game crash, or game with poor optimization. Could you point those out to me? Most recent, please.
Secondly, I only update my GPU drivers as necessary, and it's simple Simon... Geforce Experience makes it a breeze. Everything else, Windows does on the DL. I also largely use my X1 controller, as my Elite broke, and that was a truly sad day (thanks Sekiro.)
Anyway, lame argument, and you truly have shown your experience and intellect on the subject.

Yeah poor optimisation, game crashes and endless drivers is a real problem on PC. Oh wait, it's not 20 years ago anymore....
If you haven't the slightest clue about modern PC gaming my friendly advice to you is STFU.
Looks like I struck a nerve with the hermits lol. Better not attack their precious Solitaire machines.
Fact is every graphical powerhouse game sells more on consoles than PC. The only games that are popular on PC are low budget F2P games and MMO/RTS nerd games that a potato can run. PC gamers blow their load on RGB lights and then cry about having to buy games so they pirate them or stick to free ones.

To be fair, I think allot of those people would if they tried it and were not just going by allot of the misinformation that scares people away from it. That being said many people do prefer consoles who have tried PC and there is nothing wrong with that either.
