I messed up...my PC screwed me over.

So Monster Hunter World was on sale through a legit site selling Steam keys for 50% off.

I was like..”I love that game I’ll dip again to see how it is on PC”.

So after some finagling I realized I can run anything at 1080p on ultra or high settings at a solid 60fps.

This has screwed my console gaming. It’s not noticeable on some games like God of War. But I played Destiny 2 on my PS4 recently bc I wanted to feel bad, and man....those 30fps just suck.

MHW, Anthem, Doom (2016) AC:Odyssey etc....all at 1080p on the highest or near highest at 60 frames with HDR on my TV.

Shit looks gorgeous and it’s smooth as hell.

Fucking PC making some of my console games unplayable. Maybe there is something to this Shower with Dad thing.

Even 60 is not great.

I never had a problem playing games at 30fps after playing 60fps.

I actually prefer some games like MGSV at 30fps. It feels better.

PC gamers blow FPS out of proportion.

As long as it’s not terrible like 20fps like most Switch games, you are golden.

30 Frames in an FPS feels awful. I don’t know why bungie made those game with such low frames. The first destiny was even on 360/PS3 there is no reason it shouldn’t have been 60fps on current gen consoles.

You should try Forza Horizon 4, Battlefield 5 and others at 144 fps, you may want to give up consoles forever dispite missing out on some exclusive titles. Of course you would need to invest some coin in a good pc though . The quest for ultra settings and 144 FPS is not cheap ?.

I have played all the MH (US) games and there is nothing like hunting at 90+frames in MHW. The game can be a spectacle at times.

60fps? last gen shit, 144Hz is where its at. Even if you can't achieve that in some games playing at 75,100,120 or whatever is noticeable. Not only that its using your PC's full potential not locking it to 60fps.

Of course playing consoles is going to feel like shit once you get used to PC quality. I have been preaching this forever. 30fps is evil.
