I have a LG 4K TV, but I do not see Super Mario Odyssey at 60 fps

I currently have a 4K TV made by LG and used it to play Super Mario Odyssey. However, for some reason, I do not see playing the game at 60 fps.

I know that the Nintendo Switch is powerful enough to play games at 60 fps, but is Odyssey an ideal game to play at 60 fps?

Serious question: can your TV even output 60Hz? Some 4K TVs only do 30Hz.

30fps handheld. 60fps docked. If you cannot tell 30fps to 60fps, then we'd have a problem here.

LG OLED is not cheap. I'd stay away from their LCDs though.

compared to Sony OLED, plenty cheap, not much point paying for the sony models if you have a proper sound setup

Ah well you're right, the Sony OLEDs are indeed more expensive, not by much in some cases, but I'd still get the cheaper LG :P

@Epak_: I've got a LG 4K LCD TV, it does good enough. HDR looks great with ps4 pro. Brightness wasn't great out of the box, had to adjust some settings.

I had a Vizio, but Damn Vizio quality is so inconsistent. They either last a long time and are amazing for the price, or they shit out in a year.

Wouldn't get a LG LCD just because they use IPS panels.

Why do you think it isn't 60 fps? There isn't a benchmark or anything.

@magmadragoonx4: The game has simultaneously on screen elements at 60/30/20fps. That might be it.

The fps is all over the place. God forbid you kill more than one enemy at once. The draw distance is what gets me though, gross.

Goldeneye is also 60 fps but dips from time to time.
