Good night sweet prince.
I do not see why the Vita is being protected so much in system wars. I think it looks amazing but I admit the sales are abyssmal.
It's funny how the naysayers have turned their target to Sony after it appeared that Nintendo was going to ride it out with the 3DS.
People are just worried because its sales dropped more quickly than 3DS did...but than the 3DS rose to the top a few months later....Soooo.....its possible it could get better once its released in NA and Europe or it may just be forgotten, like for example...with tablets the adverage consumer only pays attention to the iPad and other companies just aren't selling theirs.
With 2 Mario games + Monster Hunter, those who thought Vita could outsell the 3DS at this time were kidding themselves. Sony just needs to get the proper software out there to boost sales. A price drop would be nice, too.
you know there is a monster hunter on the vita right? thats going to be a huge system pusherWith 2 Mario games + Monster Hunter, those who thought Vita could outsell the 3DS at this time are kidding themselves. Yes, but I'm pretty sure it's not released yet. Had it been a launch title, sales probably would have been different.

Well the Vita offers a touch screen...and the 3DS offers a touch screen and 3D without glasses, It makes perfect sense that the Vita would fail in my opinion.SolidOcelot42I don't think that's the reason why the 3DS is selling better than the Vita. :P The Vita's hardware is solid.
It's as simple as the 3DS having a much cheaper price and being backed by popular Japanese franchises. The 3DS also has momentum generated from releasing much earlier. The 3DS went through some rough times itself, but I'm not sure this is a battle the Vita can win at the moment.
I say at the moment... because eventually more 3rd party developers may become frustrated with the 3DS's technical limitations and decide to develop more Vita exclusive software. That would boost Vita sales, but I wonder if it will be too little too late this time. $250 plus the need for memory cards will be a hard sell in America, as well.

Lets not forget Nintendo's first party juggernautsI agree I am also very woried about its future. I love the 3DS but also plan to support the Vita as it looks like a great system. However things don't look well for it. I hope the American audience really embraces it. I guess we'll see.

different strokes for different folks i guess
Yea but japanese used to make some badass arcade games that i actually liked so why happened?|
I doubt it. PSP has been dead in America for years. If it would have succeeded anywhere it would be Japan.I agree I am also very woried about its future. No one I know cares about Vita. People are more interested in tablets, ipads, etc..not sonys latest flop handheld.
