How to increase framerate on pubg xbox one

i don't know if this is repost but i fixed framerate issue on my xbox one s by disable game dvr/broadcast and moving it to extarnal drive

I did it yesterday. It might help but there's still frame rate issues.

Get a PC.

Can only imagine how horrible this is to play on consoles, not even from a performance perspective. Playing this with a controller, trying to loot and swap attachments, drop X number of items quickly, what a headache.

I believe you can plug a keyboard and mouse into the xbox and it works, so there's that.

Also good tip to disable that dvr junk on pc also for performance increase.

@BassMan: Me and my girlfriend watch daily a compilation of PUBG WTF moments on YouTube. From there I can assure you that there's plenty of people playing a worst version of what I've been playing on my Xbox X. Not only terrible frame rates and resolution but also a plethora of bugs and glitches that I'm yet to find on console (sadly because I was hoping to get some of that glitch fest my self, because I find it hilarious).

Now, I'm not saying some, maybe even the majority, aren't able to play it with much better quality, but let's not pretend it's optimal on PC. Because it's easy to go on YT and find proof that says otherwise.

Also, I stopped playing on PC around 2 years ago but if I was still doing it I would definitely get the PC version instead of console.

@phbz: Yeah, Cpt obvious here to point out that just because you dont have problems with the Xbone version doesnt mean problems dont exist. <15 FPS is a problem right off the bat and it effects everyone on XBone including you. Trying to downplay it by saying "bu bu but i can prove the PC version has problems with Youtube videos and I dont have any problems on my Xbone" doesnt really work for the reason my newly acquired alter ego pointed out. So to burst your bubble: ALL Xbones suffer from extremely poor frame-rate -among other problems, ALL PCs do not. Thought I would get away with not having to say that since i didnt want to be dragged into a fanboy debate but sometimes one needs to set the record straight.

I think I found the problem. It's not a big deal to you while playing it on console, but it is a big deal for those who are having framerate issues and that's the problem.

Like Bassman said, get a PC.

@pelvist: I think you're reading way too much into this, like you're fabricating stuff that's not there and I've never claimed.

Ive stated several times in this forum that the game doesn't run well on console. And I never said that or anything close to it on my post.

My point is that, many people are enjoying the game on PCs that run the game worst than the X (as you can check on YouTube). That's not to say that the best version of the game isn't on PC (depending of the machine).

It's not contradictory. Getting a PC is good advice, but a pretty bad answer to "How to increase framerate on PUBG Xbox One?"

It's just another way of saying you can't increase frame rate on X1X, or any console for that matter, as it's all fixed. Unless for the new iterations that come with performance-to-graphics options. But in the case of PUBG, the resources are already strained, so the only solution is looking at the alternative. If frame rate is the end goal... then consoles shouldn't be the avenue to go with in the first place.
