Obiously it is when the developers get uised to the motion control enough. But when will this happen? :?  Over the next year I expect developers to get more used to the Wii-motes tech, drop gestures and go for one on one movement.  But of course it will take time.  What do you think?  We all know its possible. :)

I think the Metroid Prime 3 video had 1:1 control but I might be seeing something that I didn't.

They kind of have it on WarioWare sword fighting.  I would guess they will have some good 1:1 within a year.

Actually it is there. The twisting motion used to open a door had 1:1 or close.

Try Wario Ware: Smooth Moves. I might be wrong, but it seemed pretty accurate. I was amazed at how well it played.

Well, in January, Nintendo sent out software to developers that allowed them to map motions to the Wii remote by actually performing the motions. So, the first batch of games that makes full use of it will probably be late 2007 for first party, early 2008 for third party. Reggie Fils-Aime talked about it in an interview with Gamespot I think. If anyone else knows what I'm talkin about, find the link and post it; I'm too lazy.

yeah, i love that about baseball, i thought it was rediculous though that you can just shake the controller and it swings. I was full control. Thats what the wii is about. Same for zelda, i just shake the controller and he swings away. Whats immersive about that?

Maybe you and I have diffirent definitions of 1:1. Because it sure seems that tennis and baseball use 1:1. So does tramua center, warioware, monkeyball, and every game where you aim.

It wouldn't work too well, you'd provably have closer to 1:2 movement.  The delay is just too much for a sword game.

I was pretty sure the table-tennis-going-up-a-tower minigame did too.

No, it senses a fast motion and automaticaly swings the bat. It does when you're waiting for the pitch, but when you swing it just senses a fast motion and it's automatic from there.

First, the grammer in your previous statement is so bad I can't even understand your point.  Second, Wii Play has a game which is essentually a light gun game.

I've seen that too. You see while it was good without question, It never gave absolute control of the sword. That is my definition of 1:1 movement.

om no its not like a light gun game at all . light gun games u aim the gun at the tv screen . with the wii u never aim it at the tv u aim it a the bar. also so with the wii u always need a somthing on screen so u know where your shooting at  with out it u would always miss
