How do I get all those free PS games?

I recently downloaded the Play at Home collection from Sony as well as Ratchet & Clank 2016.

There are a bunch of games I’m interested in such as Oddworld Soulstorm that are free. I don’t have PS Plus (but obviously have a PSN account). How can I get them for free?

Personally, i bend over and give em my money. After paying, they tell me that some things are a free rent. Its fine.

Free tab or go to the store and simply type the name of the game there. Once it pops up it will either give you the option of downloading for free, adding to your library (which you should always do), or if you don't see those two click on the 3 small dots off to the bottom right. From there you will see other options you didn't see before.

@Juub1990: ps Plus is require for monthly games otherwise you have the Play at home incentive i think they will add mid April Horizon Zero Dawn good game and your other options is all the free to play stuff. If you scroll on the side Menu in PSN you will see it. My suggestion is to keep an eye open when PSN plus is on sale for 40$ buy 2 years after that wait ever year when its on sale just worth the price for some games

If you don't have PS Plus, you have to tweet Jim Ryan a pic of your johnson and hope for the best.

Just go over to your friend's place and play on their PS Plus account.

It is free for PS Plus members, no one has claimed otherwise. It's the salty Lems/Herms who are trying to spin it 😎

There's actually another way of getting Oddworld Soulstorm for free. You can set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for a PS Plus account subscription :)

No additional charge by definition is not free.

The same way you get free games with Game Pass.

Its simple, you pay for the service, and what that payment gives you is access to MP, and a couple of games per month, they are not free no matter how you or Sony spin it.

Once you stop paying for the service the games & MP are then taken away from you, by Sony.

@i_p_daily: lol I don't know what world you and some others on here have been living in, but every purchasable market uses the word "free" the same way I'm using it for this, including this website. "Free for PS Plus members" is technically accurate. If you just advertised them as "free games from Sony", then that wouldn't be correct. When I bought my last car I got a free tank of gas, and also 3 free oil changes. Yeah I had to buy the car but that stuff is thrown in there for free. One of the biggest companies in the U.S. called Amazon(knowing you, you've probably never heard of them) advertises free 1-2 day shipping on Prime items and other free perks for Prime members. I could go on and on with examples. Nobody's getting sued for false advertising because it's technically correct. Not sure why you and some others are so hell bent on this subject.

Guess all these websites are using that word wrong. Like maybe it's ok to not use every single word by it's proper definition but use it in a way that's acceptable for modern speak? Crazy right? But keep up the good fight. It's kind of funny.

To Subscribe means you need to pay Sony money, so Sony are saying free to those who pay, yeah that's makes a whole lot of no sense, they're not free.

Yes! Not because others are making equally incorrect statements doesn't make it correct. It is rather amazing that you are using juvenile logic to validate your misuse of the word. This explains why we have so many problems as a society. Facts are believed to be a matter of opinion or based on how many people feel.
