How are y'all enjoying your new lives? (a.k.a. VITA)

Hey you!

Seeing as Christmas (the biggest gift giving holiday of the season) is all but over, anyone got any stories to share about their shinny new Playstation VITA's?I think my relatives are getting one (maybe the already have) as they really enjoyed playing Shinobido 2 on mine and they already own a bunch o fPS systems (PSP, PS3, and Nintendo systems too).

All in all, the VITA actually helped my enjoy the holiday bc I did not need to be stuck infront of a TV taking up space and stopping other people from watching TV. I could get up and help out with the kids, enjoy the company of others .. all the while still kicing butt on All-Stars. ;)

Welp, that's my story. Feel free to share your story about your (hopefully) VITA filled Christmas eve and day. If you already have a VITA, did you get any new games? Did you give any VITA's or VITA games as presents?

Maybe, just maybe a Grinch will not show up to this thread to spam fanboy comments. Truly, it would be a X-Mas miracle!

It probably would suit me well to get P4 andDJMAXnow that I have all this free time to invest over the holidays. As is the case with most RPG's I play,I like to go into dungeons to check for good loot,lvlup my characters, etc.

I use mine every 45 mins it's by my side. Even if it's just to check Twitter and browse the web (the browser improved greatly!), I use my VITA a heck of a lot!

Honestly, people that have played my VITA or those I have spoken with online that do own a VITA do not have much complaints about it. They actually like the games on it and the device in general. Most people just like to talk crap because it is the internet. You know how it is.

How is the online mp in WipeOut 2048? I might buy it if the matchmaking (if there is one) is not too bad. Of course, I can always add friends who have the game but I want a decent audience of players to choose from.

It might just be me, but I do not understand why people have such a romantic vision of what poll on SW should be like. Those types of people probably touching themselves when they see a good poll.

Under $200 USD. It was under $200 for black friday... than it sold out. Now that the holiday season is over, it's back at $250!Snooze you loose, dood! Now you gotta wait until around next E3 when they announce a (real) price drop. Or, you know look on Ebay, wait for another deal between then or something. Also, I got a 8 GB tha has held for me since launch. I have a few PSN games on it and it's only approx 75% full.

Erm, you do NOT want me to tell you how to spend your money. Firstly, I find it creepy telling people what to buy in an environment where fanboys are all telling people what they should enjoy. And secondly you gotta research stuff to find out your own tastes. What are you looking for in the VITA? I might inform you about a few things using my own experience and knowledge. Seeing as I do not own a 3DS only and know some tech/games/news stuff about it, I can only really give you in-depth info for the VITA. Sorry.

That's a stupid thing to say in a board where most hate one thing or the other. In the end it's just personal preference. Some don't like to play handhelds while others don't like the best expercience (PC)

Do you still get those free games on the vita?

I would check, but VITA's Music Unlimited is loading some stuff and it needs to stay in the app to synch with the servers so I can play the music offline. The Music Unlimited app needs a bit more tweaking but I have been enjoying the free trial. Actually, I might buy a 1 year sub to PS+ just to get that big discount on Music Unlimited for one year.

I will be getting a Vita later, I don't have much interest in the 3DS, the only good advantage it has is the price. Vita beats it in everything else. But sometimes you have to pay for quality, and in the long run Vita actually is cheaper if you're a Plus Member because you get the entire libarary for FREE.

Got a vita for xmas and i like it alot so far!

If I had a 3DS I honestly would not be pondering the flaws that would make one system superior to the other. I would just enjoy them bc they met the standards I looked for in something that I bought to enterntain me. As it stands, I really only have the money to invest on my VITA. Can't complain.
