Kinda feel bad for Housemarque, the games they really like to make just don't sell enough. Glad they didn't completely flip direction, but doesn't look like their usual balls out arcade action either.

Could just be the marketing though. Trying to grab a larger audience by showing less intense sequences.

The combat looks like a tune-up Mass Effect: Andromeda in a way and for that, I like what I'm seeing so far. Only thing I don't like at all is the name "Returnal" and it doesn't sound right by saying it.

sad it has to launch on ps5 only with a 80€ price tag, niche game, sales gonna be rather poor, shame as games most likely great

Looks like the kind of game I would want to be good but on the fence about whether I want to find out first, let some other sucker take point check out their reviews. That's being kind though because it looks like trash.

I'll wait and see, but I like the atmosphere and world they created. Either way, not buying a new game for 70 bucks!

That gun at 0:33 looks amazing. you can build some geometric shape. Don’t think I have ever seen that before.

Hope it has coop. Housemarque games is damn good time to couch coop or online coop like in Nex Machina and Alienation. Also some people literally carried me to completion lol they are awesome at this type of games.

Eh Meh. I am not entirely sold on the game. They are not known for story focused games so I am hesitant.

The gameplay sure reminds me of the Vanguard class in Andromeda. Would love a similar game to returnal but in the mass effect world and in 4 players coop.

A few things.

1. I don't like how dark it is.

2. The weapons look good.

3. The animation appears fast and fluid.

4. Not sold. Sure, I need to see more but I'm not impressed as of yet. At this point in time it's a bargain bin or black friday/sale day pickup.
